Nearer than you think
Updates for this thread:
About the dial printing error at 33 position, have checked with factory.
Got answered as:
This is just a dial printing error on the sample they gave us, their official release stock wont have this issue.

Hey there, if you are able to have direct communication with the factory, may you ask them if they can just make the subdials a tad thinner before producing thousands of useless dials? LOL

This way a proper v2 that can be used OOTB can be released in time.

(might as well ask for the white 116520 as well, if it has the same problem lol)

let me fix it for you:

Just spend 1.5-2k for a new dial on top of your 800 for a total cost of 2300-2800 without labor and your are good to go LOL

Still a good base IMO, as you don't need to change the bezel nor the xtal gasket nor the hands. Whilst with the noob one needed to change all on top of slamming a gen dial ;-)

Exactly, that’s the way to go. What’s the issue with that? Alternatively you can just take an ARF dial. Will come much cheaper then and nice result as well.

Or buy the Gen watch for 25-30k€ :p

this clean black is an arf dial with feet for 4130. it is very clear as well as the black ceramic dial, also of arf derivation

Hm not sure if I agree for the 116520. Subdials are much thicker on the pics here than on my two 116520 ARF black dials I have in my Noobs.

Edit:

What di you thing?

and consider that they have very different lights, otherwise they would have been easily superimposed. it seems more than real to me that clean and Arf are working together on this project. for me the case is ARF which has been thinning lugs, clean caseback, clean insert, Arf frets and crown, Arf bracelet, arf glass, dial (in the case of panda improved arf) all arf, Noob movement reassembled by them in the factory. naturally remains a thought of mine, when I have it in my hands I will be able to understand better.

Identical? Interesting how you can perceive things differently. For me, it's a difference like day and night.

I meant CF bezel is same like on the pic you posted which means Rolex made them like that at some point which I didnt know. Hope we understood each other now :D

Ah cool, happy days:thumbsup:

Am excited about the release of the white dial, which seems to be scheduled for after CNY, saving the best for last perhaps ;)

This and a CF124060 will likely be my next order, unless something else jumps out at me in the meantime :eek:hwell:

Hope you have a great Sunday Sir

This image montage is problematic. The ARF dial (right side) is slightly larger scaled than the one on the left. This is clearly visible in the minute printings. This makes the subdials appear equally fat, although they are fatter on the left.

Just compare the two pics I posted, left and right.
