Rolex Bezel re finishing

I did do some digging a few years back, searches now bringing up the old stuff I can’t seem to find much new information if anyone is refinishing the brushed vs polished details in the bezel teeth / scallops on subs GMT’s etc making them more gen like. I have a v5/v6 sub, willing to practise on it if anyone has a decent method, I think a few people tried a credit card and cape cod just wondering if the couple of guys that gave it a go are doing it as a mod now at all? I’d be in for buying a new sub or gmt rep then lol and getting the mod.

I can see the stem of a little watchmakers screwdriver wrapped around a CapeCod would work. 10 seconds on each scallop you'll be done in 10 minutes.
