Thanks. Maybe I wasn't clear enough but the white dialed Daytona in my post is a CF too, compared to a gen 116520 black dial

Your CF is 116500.

Mine is a CF 116520.

I hope this is also a good comparison.

what year should this version correspond to?

if i want to buy an original black dial, which mark would be coeval with this one?

I did some research, also downloading an excellent study by an Italian rolex watch expert.

the CF 116520 daytona corresponds to a 'random serial' in production from the end of 2009 to 2016.

2009/2013 = dial mark V superluminova
2010/2013 = dial mark VI 'aph' superluminova
2014/2016 = dial mark VI 'aph and not aph' chromalight

Hi

I am planning to buy a cf panda one but i am bothered by the straight line 3 points on the crown.

Does someone know where I can buy a nice one not being a gen?

May I buy a new stem too?

Thanks guys

So CF makes by far the best Daytona and even better than Noob, thank you very much

Hello, the problem is that I did not find so much information about 116520 white dial. If you have to say something that can help I would appreciate that

There is notuch information because the 116520 have just been pre released. But all the information available is in this thread and the other one about CF Daytona dials. So if you read them you'll know everything that we do

For many reppers this would be a completely satisfactory piece. The really very slightly fat subdial rings are less noticeable on the white dial due to less contrast. Sometimes we don't let ourselves enjoy how good these reps really are. Finding a replacement rep crown is simple if you must have one. It's the same size as rep 6 digit GMTs, Subs, and YMs, most of which also have 3 curved dots whether it's appropriate to model material or not. Of course the stem needs to be swapped over if not coming from a Noob Daytona. IME most same size rep crowns will fit other rep tubes.

Am I the only one who thinks that previous version SS CF bezels were far superior than these ones? I can't get over how close the dots are to "150" and "180" on the bezel. Almost touching

The white 116500 is the better one. The subdial size on that is the same size compared to gen. Unfortunately the white 116520 subdials are larger then the gen.

I'm excited for this potential release in Spring 2022, if not later... Just worried the price will be too high.

It's already in pre release and posted on TD's website and the price is well known
