Hi Nikz19 if I may, I'd like to ask for your professional input regarding this movement.
I saw your reddit post a few months ago where you showed a complete teardown of the 4130 and expressed how impressed you were with it.

Assuming the Clean movement is identical to the Noob to avoid speculation, do you think using the chrono would cause the watch to explode as many members on here seem to think? Or moderate use (let's say for argument's sake, 4-5 times a week) should not cause terminal damage to the watch, having intimately worked on the movement? (If maintained)

Other watchmakers or people who have serviced the 4130 feel free to chime in. Just trying to cut through the baseless speculation on here, from people with more knowledge on the subject for the benefit of members.

Thanks in advance.

Without wanting to preempt Nik's reply, i would hazard a guess to say that if the movement has been serviced and reassembled with care, then moderate use of the chrono would be ok, however i have always understood that excessive or prolonged use of the chrono puts additional wear and strain on the movement over that of normal operation, that being true of gen movements too.

I feel that it is an excellent question ! It would be really interesting to have a pro point of view. Hope we'll get some insights soon !

the panda dial looks good at the end, while the black dial has huge sub dials.
beyond the quadrants, I too think the case is the same, or very similar, to the noob. no shape improvement.

It’s always better NOT to use rep chronographs, unless parts 4130-815 and 4130-820 has been swapped.

Btw, now that the 4130 is back this means rep spare parts are back as well, so if anything breaks it’s now repairable with rep parts too. Wasn’t the case before with noob out of the games.

I have pre-ordered the black 116500. Still waiting for the QC pics, will see how the dial looks. But to be honest I don't care if the subdials are fat... Maybe if the subdials are going to be REALLY really fat then maybe I can switch to the panda. But I like to black version more than the panda so we will see...

Btw. Nikz, thank you for your input!

I am wondering why nobody has complaint about the case. The Lugs are terrible. They are symmetrical. Gen and noob lugs are not symmetrical. The right lug is smaller. Big tell for me.

Hey guru,big respect to you
but i think lugs are not asymmetrical on clean, the difference is small close to gen or same as gen,gen lugs are more sharp but i must agree this clean case is little better than noobs… for me bigger flaw is sel,it is too high and sels are almost long as lugs are which is not good,to be honest it is better on my noob as you can see

Hi Nikz, thank you for your valuable input. Knowing the specific weak links is really helpful for members to make the decision with the operation.

Another question if I may, are these gen parts readily available? And rough cost? Or would you recommend it being more cost-effective to use replacement rep parts? (Such as ordering a donor 4130 movement if things go wrong)

Do you know what are the differences between Clean bezel V2 and V3 apart from the CF logo missing?

Clean's Daytona is like sub 4k RMB for those who made reservation.

Wonder how are those guys with NOS Noob's Daytona holding up now.

I got latest information from my dealer.
116500 Panda will be released at 21st and Black at 25th.
First batch is limited, and the next batch should wait for next year.
116520 will come next year.

Hi Nikz19 sorry for being annoying, just one more question. If I source the gen clutch module (4130-815) and chrono wheel (4130-820) is it a straight fit into the rep movement?
