The rehaut is nowhere near gen...Noob had the best rehaut, they were double lined

The fact that they are double lined don't make them better. There's both sides single lined and double lined in gens, depending on the year

Noob regularly had misaligned engraving, which VSF is much better at

So agree with you that no factory has a 100% gen like rehaut engraving, but VSF subs tend to be among the best, especially since they fixed the alignment of the first R on their 116

I just received one of the first batches of vsf subs and I am actually really impressed with the rehaut doesn’t look as dull as some of the others I have seen

Finally found a Smurf! I GLed it already, everything looks perfect apart from the rehaut between 9 and 10 o'clock so only that isn't a reason for a RL as I don't wanna risk getting another piece that might be inferior.

I’ve never needed more than 1 link taken out and removing it from the 6 side simply pulls the clasp too far to the corner of the wrist so it sticks out. Taking 1 link from the 12 and having the glide lock almost at its shortest point, not it’s longest means the clasp is perfectly Central under my wrist.

Just checked mine and I’ve taken from the 6 I will try out taken one from 12 instead and tighten the glide lock

I see what you're saying... but I think i'd still prefer a double lined rehaut with an R thats misaligned by fractions of a mm; that's just a personal preference. On the late models, the very first thing I look at is the rehaut, and if its not double lined its basically an instant give away, whereas alignment flaws take a lot more time to notice right off the bat.

Don't know why a single lined engraving would be an instant tell and a double lined wouldn't but yeah to each their own
just be aware that it would correspond to a pre 2013 116610 sub and that there is no 126610 with double rehaut engraving

and Noob is no more anyway so your options will be limited + their latest subs hadn't been on par with competition for more than 2 years

Yeah you're right. They stopped doing double lined rehauts in 2015. I dont know why I thought 2020/2021 models were double-lined. I stand corrected.

On subs CF rehaut is far better than VSF, as are the hands and the bracelet, VSF has the best case and Crystal, it’s just a shame about the cyclops.
Balanced opinion from a fanboy of neither, other fanboy opinions are readily available as per the many amusing comments.

Actually the VSFs 126610 rehaut are bad.. received 3 of them and all are misaligned. Don’t know what they do, but it starts on some sides to float.

Too bad it’s the best case.

Any idea what’s the next best case but with perfect rehaut?

I've been fortunate to get a few. Here's my replated all gold blue sub.

Did Nikz do the replating....and did he have any issues plating gold on top of gold(I have heard that its difficult to gold plate on top of gold plate as opposed to gold plating on to SS)? Considering doing the same? Advice appreciated. Thx

Got my QC back on the 1LQ clasp 126610 and I am going to ask Lana to screw the crown all the way down. To my eye it looks like it is sticking out slightly. Other than that looks great and GL approve once crown confirmation
