116710LN Franken build - where to start?

Hello everyone, wanted to gauge opinions on which 116710LN I should be using for the base of a franken build. I'm looking for what the best case/bracelet model would be, especially when looking at SEL recessions and length. ARF looked to be the best from what I've been able to gather but figured I'd see what others thought about this, or if they had any experiences they would like to share.

hey mate!

great choice to go with arf. i stuck also to the SH3186 in my build and just swapped it for gen gmt module and it works great. here’s my build if you are curious;

gen gmt module
gen dial
gen hands
gen xtal
gen dw
gen crown
gen dw
gen full bezel and clicksprings

You may want to check the ARF GMT thread, if I recall there was something weird with the depth of the case (crystal to dial distance) that led to incorrect magnification with gen crystals

Yes, arf has problems with magnification. But it can be done with different position of xtal
