Just changed my xtal to gen. Things to note, stock gasket is 1mm thinner than gen gasket. Bezel came out too easy. Gen gasket is 1mm taller. Had to shave the gen gasket about 0.5mm in order to press the bezel back.

Interesting, I've installed 3 different crystals to 3 different cf dj and never encounter this issue...gen gasket fitted just fine in my cases.

Do you recall which part number gen xtal you used? I believe the different variances of b25-318 have different gasket sizes? Could be my issue or I was to scared to press down harder. Lol

Final product with gen xtal. DW seems good enough but I have a gen already on the way.

Last week my CF finally arrived. Really happy with this one. However, everytime I touch the clasp or the clasp touches my desks surface, it makes a clacking noise probably caused by the free space of the clasps closure. Is it only my unit or has someone experienced the same?

Mine did the same thing. Bent the inside part (like shown above) and all good now.

I'm planning to do a gen xtal when my CF silver dial arrives. I seen 2 different part numbers for the gen xtal. Can anyone please help me confirm which is correct? Does either or work or is one better than the other?

B25-318-C-V3-C1 or B25-318-C2-C1.

Also any idea where I can find the gen datewheel? I've checked chrono24 and ebay with no luck.
