New Clean Factory DJ41 3235

Here's a closeup of the cf dj stock crystal, as you probably notice there's this same kind of double bevel going on.

Whilst I gather some OEM parts for my Wimbledon, I did pick up some original spring bars, and had some time last night to swap them over.

Was it worth it, not really, but it's cheap to do! The fit and finish of the bars as you would expect are better, with the OEM bar having a shiny finish.

Before anyone asks, no I do not have access to rollie parts, I just emailed an authorised store with a valid serial number (google is your friend) and ordered some. They come in packs of 5, and cost £9.00, yep that was all.

Would you say it is worth to put a gen crystal and datewheel on this one or find another base?

Yes, definitely get a gen or Prof crystal so you can get rid of the milky crystal effect on the clean.

Ooo,You do get black hole effect when a gen crystal is on a light coloured dial. You get the most awesome Rolex halo! Rolex AR xtal on a light dial looks even better than a dark dial to me!

Yes 3135 and 3235 hands holes are the same size. Those are really cheap hands though and shipping hands together in one blister is a sure way to get them all scratched up. Also most Chinese aftermarket Rolex hands have either green lume or medium blue, not blue-green Chromalight. Rep factory hands are best if not going gen.

I just saw that there are other models that references the DJ41 in Clark's store and I wonder which one that should fit the CF DJ41? Thankful for any information, just hoping I ordered the correct when I selected the 25-315-c?
