    ZF Hulk Lume Issue

Just got the ZF Hulk in a few days ago.
It is pretty noticeable that there is a mismatch of lume between the hands and the markers. This is not so obvious in pics but clearly is with naked eyes.
Has anyone ever tried to resolve this issue? Don't seem to read about this so far.
But interesting enough the lume in the dark gives the same matching chromalight blue colour though.

Common problem on the ZF. Mine was the same and ended up fitting gen hands which looked better. I noticed it the most outdoors, indoor lighting was better.

Mind feeding in a pic of your Hulk with gen hands to reveal the lume matching? Cheers.

Mine was an Ln but same issue. I’ll try and find pics of before and after.

Thanks for taking the trouble in sharing the pics.
It looks like the ZF Hulk has the similar issue.

By replacing with the gen handset looks to give a better matching/improvement. But then the cost of the gen handset is almost the cost of the whole watch.....
Btw, the gen hands fit straight onto the pinions without needing any mods?

Maybe see if someone can relume it for you. I actually noticed on my ZF pilot where the hour hand is blue lume while the rest of the watch is green. You can see it in the sun. But I actually like it its like a custom piece lol. Also my ZF Tudor Pelagos is actually missing lume on the 12 oclock triangle. The part is lumed by its self but not too strong, rest you can see lume applied over and its crazy good. For me I found best lume I got was always on my Noob Watches, the Panerai or Rolex its crazy good. But see if someone can relume it for you.

The hands look off white compared to the dial markers. I think just reluming the hands with WBG9 might be an acceptable fix.

Gen hands will fit 1:1 on a rep 3135 or 3235 movement, assuming the gen hands holes are not compromised.

bertieng You should buy a WBG9 lume kit and practice on some junk hands. It's not hard to do, it only took me a couple tries to be able to do it acceptably well.

                      Thanks KJ2020 for the advice.

Which maker is it for the WBG9? Superluminova?
                      Who sells it?
                      Cheers

It is made by RCTritec and they are the only ones who make BGW9 as far as I know. It’s not cheap though!
Some on eBay for sale in small quantities.

                          Get the BGW9 kit

1 gram lasts a good while.

You might also want to get some cheap lume from somewhere else just to practice mixing, etc. I did that but never used it - just dove right in with the good stuff.
