Agreed, that's a terrible picture for movement ID but my guess is it's the same NH05 from the first-gen ZFs. I can't see the pivot jewel under the balance that would be there if it was the Miyota from the carbon RM55 reps, so I'm going to say Seiko.

I haven't, the red jewel is practically invisible on-wrist and I'm not particularly concerned or bothered by it.

Me neither, Its never been a real issue for me, the sapphire, case thickness and balance wheel have always been my 3 biggest bug bares.
