Rate my first build?

Jkf 1680 with dg2813 movement
Mods:
•reshaped case
•added a tc v6 clasp
•athaya 702 crown
•drilled lug holes
•watchmaterials crystal
•viet dial(printing isn’t 100% accurate but gorgeous imho)
•silenced rotor and finally waterproofed
Tell me what you think, things to improve on, what looks off, etc. Ill post more pics in the comments but for context i learned how to take a caseback off about 4 months ago and now ive “built” my first watch(although rather crudely in my guest bedroom).

Nice first build, try to get a tropic 127, that increase the look of the date dramatically.

I went with the WM xtal strictly because i like the magnification and placement of the date window. Although tropic is very good

Great Job congratulations. If you want to be super accurate in your vintage Rolex builds I always use these guys for examples. I would make the lume less consistent and make the case look over polished

Great job man! The finish on the bracelet looks good as does the insert. They tie the watch together well. I also like how you didn’t go with the red sub like everyone, present company included.

4 months? I’m in the same boat as Rx4Time.

Originally started off as a red Sub, but felt a little out of place in my collection. Went with the great white and haven’t looked back since. Honestly, it’s been really fun doing this build, i think im just gonna continue improving this build, Phong case, WSO bezel assembly, etc.

This is a gen Tropic 127 on my old MBW, see how clear the magnification is.

This is an old build from 15 years ago.
At this time MBW was the choice for fantastic vintage builds. The Cases where really good but need a lot of work. They turned out very good as u can see.
So unfortunately MBW is not available since long time.

Yes, in the Pics you can see the work.
Dial varnished and relumed, Datewheel was Custom, Hands relumed an a lot of case work.
