Here's the story:

Antiquorum selling the watch in the first place. It was sold on Jun 28th, 2020

Someone sold the watch to a Vintage Watch Shop, then they list the watch for sell.

A guy's name New Sheriff in Town posted on his Instagram and claimed that the watch was fake (also back in Nov 2015, he found out that Phillips Action listed a Fake Rolex Daytona Solo 6239)

I love the explanation, “this piece was not 100% correct”. Makes it sound less like they totally screwed up and had happily accepted a rep, and more like they were in possession of gen watch with some later iffy parts. Whereas the stuff pointed out seems to indicate that it’s a 100% rep build.

This is another example of why buying vintage is a total minefield.

That's pretty crazy. This watch that was not 100% correct has listed on their site for $60k. Still wonder what spec in this watch is though. Seems to be all Gen parts except Viet case set and converted Valjoux 72 movement.

Anyway whoever that sold this off as Gen, you are a freaking shit head man. :bash:
