I really don’t understand- all the information that you need is here. You just have to be patient and read.
I’m a long time lurker and over the years have bought a number of reps that I am delighted with. I’ve never needed to post my QC pics for validation- I know what I am looking for because I have done my research. Likewise I understand how our TDs work so am not surprised if a watch is out of stock and things take longer than hoped for. I certainly wouldn’t post a complaint on this forum about it.
Sorry for the rant but the rudeness and intolerance are becoming intolerable!

New things are hard for some people, they see this site as a tool/resources so they make an account to ask questions... even if they have already been asked and answered thousands of times. Many people are new to the world of reps (like myself). There's a learning curve, and when you're introduced to a new thing that has so many details and workings it is easy to be overwhelmed.

Not sure I buy that - when I was a new member, I started by reading the “new members start here” section...
It also does not excuse the rudeness and arrogance that I see.

efajri Agree with you. Technology has made it easy to get answers. They expect the same here. These days, I even see kids asking Alexa to do their math for them :picard:

i see top paid managers doing simple additions/subtractions with their phone nowadays. I guess it's inevitable.

I've only been here for a year, so I still keenly remember being a completely wide-eyed innocent with absolutely no clue about how anything worked on any of the rep forums. I also remember not appreciating how anything I asked had been asked over and over before. I also remember how hard it was to find anything by searching for it, when I didn't know my ARF from my Ebel. So - most of the time - I'm sympathetic to the plight of the FNG. And as I've found in my short time here, there will ALWAYS be someone who signs up purely to ask who sells the best Sub.

Bonjour,

I think it's normal to ask for validation of QC pics ,especially for neewbies.
-there are specialists here who can see details i miss .
-I think about buying a planet ocean but i never saw a gen one!
-if the thread is named "QC pics" you just have to don't click on it ...

By the way...some people like to check other's QC pics ;-)

FIne, but RWI has its own policy on posting QC pics - which, BTW, is in line with the whole ethos of QC pics from the TDs. QC pics are NOT intended to be pored over in extreme detail to check for tiny flaws, they are intended to confirm the buyer is getting the correct watch they ordered, with no glaring, obvious issues that anyone who knows what a watch looks like would see. Genuine watches come with just as many little defects as reps do.

So if anyone has a problem with that, they can go to RG or Reddit with their QCs.

How does anyone even think 'boomer' is a correctly applied description? Per definition of booming, the description is better applied to these thoughtless millennials.

Not sure where you're getting your definition of "boomer" from, but it's a shortening of "baby boomer" - and this describes "a person born in the years following the Second World War, when there was a temporary marked increase in the birth rate".

I didn't know that. I guess you learn something new every day - I feel young again!
