TC V7x 16610ln with Gen Insert and Crystal

I'm pretty certain down_under doesn't live in Australia, and $1600 US for a TC with a Rolex crystal and insert is about $500 more than it should be
True. His last sale indicates he’s from Asia and after some light stalking all the prices he stated in his last’s posts were USD.

Yes the prices I offered him is $1600 USD. this is with ETA 2824.
Sure if you think it is a little high but it is what I paid for with all the work involved. Sure thing to say that what I paid is silly and that I have been overcharged?
Of course negotiation can be done to exclude the "unnecessary labor cost" if the potential buyer thinks it is ridiculous. He can turn around and say "nah man... that's too high. Let's go with $1100" I think it is very normal thing to do right?
I have no intention of profiteering or backdoor selling. All i did was responded to a WTB thread via PM, so that negotiation can be made before a "reserved sale thread" is offered.
As the OP already called me out and hinted that he would tell me to "go f&@#$ myself" I guess there is nothing to discuss further here.
PS. down_under in reference include New Zealand (you know? Lord of the Rings?) as well! please include my little country on the right side of Australia. hahahaha.

I’ve seen people offer to buy a stock TC v7x for 1k, the demand as well as the price has definitely increased on those. I believe we have multiple instances of the TC subs in particular selling for a premium because of their rarity and it has been allowed from what I’ve seen, granted the buyers are happy to pay the premium because they want that particular watch.
Gen crystal, Gen insert, and ETA 2824 plus labor not including shipping. I can see how he justifies his cost of $1600 or greater. Perhaps next time ask for a price breakdown instead of creating a frenzy, also there is something called negotiation.
If you posted the WTB ad in the first place and someone PMs you, figure it out amongst yourselves first, then ask for a reserved sale, then PM whoever you would like to take a look at the sale (perhaps a mod or two) and move forward from there. If mods feel the price is too high for what it is they will definitely chime in, and always asked for a reserved sale. Trying to shame someone like this is such an awkward position for everyone.
Me personally, I think down_under should just forget about the hair transplant at this point. The whole lipstick on a pig thing.

Gen insert $250
Gen ETA 2824 + movement servicing $250
Waterproofing $70
Xtal installation cost $50
H4 hand pinion swapped $45
Total: $1765
This is literally what I paid. You guys are welcomed to call me stupid for paying this premium for unnecessary fees.

Extra $150 is worth the upgrade Bezel and crown in my opinion.

A stock TC V6 16610 was $570. The TC V7 Extreme was $689. The most expensive TC ever was the V7 Extreme LV and it sold for $739.
Can i still buy them at this price today or someone is willing to let them go at this price?
