I’m not sure how much a new tc is but I think a new one would’ve cost around 500€? New crystal and new insert maybe another 600€? Considering this is used $1600 is a little high.

$1600 my ass... lol as far as i know TC v7 Extreme price was $689 back then. Even with gen insert and crystal I cannot see that price.

I think you may have shot yourself in the foot here.

I would have negotiated with him offline to get the price more reasonable (and without profiteering).

Maybe he meant 1600 AUD if his name is Down Under!

Are you suggesting down_under is selling this. Our PM system is not to be used for backdoor trading. If he wants to make a sales thread he is welcome to. However at $1,600 I can imagine a lot of people crying foul.

I sold my BK modded TC V6 16610LV last year for €1,150. New Rolex LV insert, Swiss ETA with H4, Gen crown and Gen xtal.

I paid $1,100 for my TC V6 with Swiss ETA movement, gen crystal, gen insert, and gen crown/tube. tripdog had even worked on shaping the case. $1,600

It sounds like too much dosh to me mate. Another thing to consider is that you’ll fall in love with it completely and never sell, so pay only what you expect to never re-coup perhaps I love my five digit sub too much to ever part with.
Tc v6(? I think) with gen Crystal, insert, clasp was 700 euro for me here on RWI.
