Hi folks, I'm new here and wonder if I can get some suggestions?

I'm after a watch I can wear in bed, so with a luminous dial. Ideally not too chunky. Any ideas please?

Look for a fiver, like the Tudor Pegalos V4. It's like a torch, and is titanium, so lightweight and non intrusive. Hope that helped, buddy!

When you wake up in the early hours, in the dark, do you fumble around for your phone or just glance at your watch? If it's 3:30 then you can relax and go back to sleep. If it's 7:00 then that might mean it's time to get up for work soon. It's an operation that needs to be completed without waking the Mrs ...

All Seiko Divers glow like a torch. You mention "not too chunky" so I am going to suggest Seiko sbdc051 or 053 if you like blue. All seiko Divers are really great, but most are a bit chunky. I have or have had skx007 (2x), Turtle (2x), Tuna, Sumo, Samauri, both a blue and black 62 MAS remake (sbdc051/53) + >50 other gens & reps. VERY few other watches even come close when it comes to LUME.

I wear a Luminox on summer night hikes. Not a torch like Seiko (which dims after a few hours) but consistently easy to read any time of the night.

Agreed. I wear a Seiko Orange Monster to bed. Glows all night if I charge it up a little. I like having a watch on at night. That way when I get up to pee or take the dog out I always have the time. Wearing it also reduces the chances of it getting stolen by the prostitute.

I vote Tudor Pelagos.... below gen is left, rep right. Both are touches at night and titanium so very light.

Never heard of the brand before, so thanks for the intro.
You will find tritium not as bright as say, Seiko lume, at least initially. But, the all night glow is easy to read and fairly consistent for couple of decades.
