I am not sure you can return the watch but if you could you would be responsible for shipping costs and custom risk. You can sell it on this forum once you qualify. Check out the sales sections for rules etc.

You paid a bargain price for the watch, so think again before you let her go.... I'd wear the 42mmm watch for some time to find out if you get used to her. It often takes a few weeks ;)

You work out, bro?

42MM is too small for your wrist? Are you the Incredible Hulk or just more of an Invicta man?

I keed, I keed.

But seriously 42 MM being too small seems really odd. I guess you just mean for your aesthetics. I top out personally at around 43 and I was scared as all get out when I got that one - that it would seem massive.

Even my vintage watches that are around 34 are great looking IMO. They look small when I put them on, but as I wear them they look perfectly natural. Maybe you just need to wear it a couple of days and get used to it.

I have several friends who wear big Invicta and Diesel watches. They have regular, human-sized wrists but would never wear anything smaller than 47mm. It's kind of a fashion statement, I guess.

I’m guessing you like the big fashion pieces that try to make a statement of some kind. Trust me, a quality Omega rep will make a far better statement than a 47mm crappy fashion brand. That said there are plenty of bigger sized reps, I like the big Rolex seadweller, the omega 44mm SMP chronograph and although I don’t have one yet, there are some great PAMs to be had too.

You can sell the watch on here if you want to, but it will take a while for you to qualify.

Whatever you do, good luck matey.

Thank you so far for your advice. When I measured the diameter I was sure that it's only 39,5mm. That's also why I think it's too small. But Ryan told me then that the crown also has to be considered an then it would be 42mm. On the following pictures I put also another genuine watch next to it, which is definitely 42mm without crown and it looks bigger than the Omega.

What do you think? Has Ryan sent me the wrong size?

Your measuring the bezel diameter, not the case diameter. That's not the measurement that they're stating on the website. Most commonly the watches are measured for the outer case diameter.

Ok I didn't know that. Then it's clear. Thank you.

To be fair, in this case the bezel runs from one end to the other, matching exactly the case width except crown (check the first photo). So, although it's not the normal way to measure a watch's size, in this case is pretty accurate.

If I'm not wrong, the one you have is the Planet Ocean 39.5mm, exactly this one: https://www.omegawatches.com/watch-...ial-master-chronometer-39-5-mm-21530402001001

It looks pretty nice, if you ask me. Although on the very thick side, with those 16mm (is it really 16mm?!). As some people say, my suggestion would be to sell it here in the member to member sales section, but make sure you follow the sales rules please. You can state it as a "C&R" (catch and release) which essentially means you got it but you don't plan to keep it for long.
