Trying a gen watch before ordering rep?

Have you ever gone to a jewellers to try on a gen of the watch you want to buy as a rep to get an idea if you like it on you/ sizing/ straps etc..

I have not, Ive never actually been to an AD of Rolex etc. But there’s no reason why you should not do so.

what do you mean by peach? I really like it, but I have a 7.2 inch wrist, so Im not sure it will fit ok

Peach = Lovely.

7.2" wrist you;ll most likely be fine with a DSSD.
On my 6.75" wrist it looked totally wrong - I dint like it at all.

So a trip to a grey dealer to try both on was very useful.

Yes, I tried a gen Big Pilot at an AD on my wrist before buying the rep.

Yes I tried the Pam 682 before buying it and wasn't even thinking of ever purchasing that watch. Immediately loved it when I saw it on my wrist.

I've done it a number of times to my local jewelry shop where they sell Rolex, Bell & Ross, Tudor. I've stopped going because by now they recognize me and I never buy a watch after looking.

Kinda silly, I know, but I feel a bit embarrassed about it.
