Hi guys,
after building these watches in the past, I’m working currently on a Daytona project (maybe like everyone does at the moment...)
Anyway, somehow I have the feeling, that every watch gets a little boring after finalizing a project.

Did you made a similar experience?

You search and collect parts for ages, while being online 24/7 not to miss any gen parts, invest a lot of money, putting so many enthusiasm inside, but once it’s finished, all of a sudden it’s not that interesting anymore.
This sucks. Compared to my gen watches, there is still a difference in emotions while wearing, although the anticipation phase is much longer... what do you think?

Nice, thought about an AP as well. But for the moment my knowledge is based on Rolex only...
Maybe my Daytona will get a daily beater as well.
However, while reps become more close to gen all the time, I loose my fun to replace some parts by gen parts because honestly, sometimes it’s really hard to tell a difference...

Get money. Buy watch. Improve watch. Sell watch... to buy different watch (maybe very different, maybe only slightly different)... to improve watch... to sell watch... rinse and repeat.

A truly viscious cycle, isn't it?

Yeah it’s like a devils circle. Haha
My problem is, I can sell a certain model only once I have minimum 2 or 3 similar ones. Otherwise I’m afraid I might doing something wrong.

U.K.
Yep. I love the chase of the parts and then loose interest in the watch when finished. Crazy aren’t we!
