Gold & diamond submariner... thoughts?

So stumbled over a gold rep sub and bought because it struck me as a good deal. SA3135 movement and gold looks pretty good. I’ve seen much worse. Has all the stamps and rehaut engraving that is really well made.

Dont know the factory but doesn’t matter, keeps perfect time in COSC. So anyway.

I was considering gettig a diamond gold sub dial for it for fun and make a bling watch with gen hands and this dial below:

What are your thoughts?

Have some gen inserts in the box I could use.

Unless you're really going to enjoy it I think it's a waste of time and money.

Will you wear it? I couldn't rock it, I like my gold subs, but the diamond dial is too much for me. So I think this is the only question you need to answer. If you like it and are going to wear it, why not?

Yeah sure! I’ll wear it like 3-5 times a year. But otherwise just sport my trusted sub which is my daily.

What you guys think? Gold or silver dial?

The watch came with a rep gold bracelet with glide clasp...lol its not for me. I love the gold against the leather... it’s also much more wearable with the leather look. Don’t you think?

The dial is £210 plus shipping and the rest of the gear I have laying in my pile of watch parts. It would be a watch I wear, but definitely not a daily. It would be more a big parties, gala dinners, events type watch for me.

Which looks better with the leather, gold or silver? Gold might be better but if you like the leather and silver go with that.

Thoughts on the dial? Jktime makes nice dials but font wise it belongs to older sub. Thoughts?

Authentic diamonds. I bought from jkt before when building gen lady dj for my wife. Stones tested for authenticity and they delivered as advertised. Dial quality is very good.

I suppose they are a tiny bit bigger. Could it be because its an older design dial?
