How is your package going? My package has no news.

Yup same - nothing. I check it every day haha. I also am hoping every day for a customs letter in the mail so I can get the process moving.

There have been several threads and if memory serves some were rather lengthy. I remember reading about cases in the USA and EU alike. Ultimately if you are in either area and don't want to take the risk you can do M2M used or you can find a dealer already there who in essence has assumed the risk for you I suppose. Ultimately I think patience is key because I've had packages take 6+ weeks to arrive and whenever I see someone post "got it in 2 weeks" I wonder where/how. Never happened to me. Always takes eightever for me to get anything.

I know there are but there are not stickied. Many member also know that this hobby requires patience.
What most people want to know (I believe) is what happens after Customs confiscates the package. Did the unlucky members get fined? Did they fight it? Did Rolex sue them? Did they have issue with their Global Entry Pass? Did the Dept. of Homeland Security continue to pursue the case after they ignored the letter? What's the ending? I heard one of our supporting vendors (in US) quit being a supporting vendor because of customs issue.

I think the customs experience will help many members learn how to deal with the situation.

Almost 3 weeks and no updates of any sort. My seller is still asking me to be patient. Let's try

It took 25 days, but finally my package arrived today. Lot of patience needed (even if it's so difficult to exert this virtue when one is in the dark). Anyway, all well that ends well, as it is said

At this point, I actually made another order for Omega AT Bumblebee. I just spent extra money for getting another Omega AT Bumblebee.

I mean what things can be a reason to be held at ISC NEW YORK so long time, other than the customs are holding the watch physically as a counterfeit product?

I will check update. If it is a good news then I will have two of Omega AT Bumblebee. Arghhhhhh...

I was about to say.. I ordered a package from China to New York in mid July and it arrived just last week

Just add to all the fun, here's my tale of woe: My watch cleared customs on 5 Sept. USPS says: A status update is not yet available on your Priority Mail® package. It will be available when the shipper provides an update or the package is delivered to USPS. Check back soon.

Anyone know what that means? I'm in California. Should I just have another martini or do I push the shiny red button?

It looks like it cleared customs, and you should have the delivery date soon.

No, that was from me. The text got pushed down on top of the carrier's message.
By the way, my TD said my package was going through USPS, but by chance I just checked DHL and found it! It's supposed to be here on this Friday! Strange footnote though...it lists the country of Origin as...Jamaica!?

Yep, and don't say anything about the country origin. Let it be from anywhere other than China. I know there are some CBP agents lurking on this forum.
