Hey guys, I bought an 116610 v7 from a m2m sale

The pearl pip fell off and I had sent it for repairs for something else. The modder (mike) tried using v6s pearl but it was too big.

I ordered v7 pearl from my TD and I received it but it was also too big...

Could someone assist me. How the hell can I get a correct pearl.

This is the “v7” pearl my TD got me..
too big

Make the hole bigger, as my grandma used to say.

Diamond tip burrs will cut through ceramic, you're only going to need to remove something like 0.1 mm so it'll be pretty simple. Just remember how fragile ceramic is.

Jesus... I would definitely not have the tools to do this... LOL.

Looks like my easiest option would be to get another insert...

Thanks though

What you could do is get a diamond tip burr for a Dremel, and with the insert still in place - so no danger of snapping it, ream out the hole in the insert by hand (rotate the burr between your fingers) just enough to get the pearl to fit. It's worth a try.

Quite a bit of difference in size between the hole and the pearl.

That pic of mine is not a v7 LN.
The black without the pearl is from a v6s. I have a v7 LV insert for sale. The LV with pearl and LN with pearl are v7.
That specific pic is not v7.

Two front are v7.

I assumed they were all v7... Dang. I'm even more lost now.

i have tried v7 and v6s pearls and they both did not fit.

I'll try the diamond burr tip and if all fails, I'll order from Spongebob or test out the new USD Plating supporting vendor.

Thank you everyone for the input

Used diamond tip burr to make the hole bigger on the insert, took me about 3 hours by using my hand. I lost my pearl on the carpet and that took about 2 hours to find...
I waited until night and it i shone a flashlight over the carpet and looked for a glowing dot LOL.

Got the pearl in and then this morning my crown stem broke off! LOL..

Gotta source a new SA3135 stem

Anyways thanks for the help tripdog !

Your watch is too good to be v7 :)

The small hole in the insert looks like the hole in my old BP insert (on the left).

This is JF or BP dial, but rehaut isn't JF, still does not tell us much as the BP dials are used by the few makers (GMF/VRF).
If it has 2826 I bet it is VRF, if 3135 it is GMF, more photos may help though.

I like the endlink of this bracelet. What is its clasp code, 6YZ?
