and also (maybe) at RWGII is DaytonaT.. not sure if he is there, or if he does lume - he was always a good modder, just pretty low profile kinda guy.

Jack at IWW relumes too. He did my 063, and he did a great job.

Palpatine is the man. He's in Germany, but if you package just the watch without a strap, you shouldn't have customs issues. Mark "Wristwatch for service/repair" on it.

I did a little searching and found some interesting stuff.

first - walmart sells luminova. It's just strontium aluminate paint. They sell it in the sporting goods section to paint fishing lures.

as far as I can tell the difference between luminova and superluminova might be the addition of europium.

I ordered the stuff, I'm going to put some on a crappy dial I have to test, then if all goes well I'll do the sandwich dial of my 1950. I will post pics and a review. Maybe I'll even get the wife to take pictures as I do the work.

I hope the 100's of hours I have building model cars and planes when I was much younger comes in handy.

Jack is away on vacation. He will be back July 24. You can also try Everestwatch. But there is a waiting list.

Yes, as someone noted, he is on vacation. Jack is a great guy. A truly nice and honest individual.

Due to some supplier problem he had last year, my watch spent at IWW so much time than when I got it back, I had almost forgotten about it.

All those problems are behind him, and his turnaround should be faster. I believe he does not offer his full range of services on replicas now (e.g. DLC)
