I’ve been meaning to put this together for a little while and was finally prompted by a member asking about my collection. I keep all this info in Google Keep; an easy little app that syncs across devices and is perfect for this hobby with a note per watch. Thanks for looking and tell me what you think my collection is missing

Thoughts: I love the white/silver dial. I used to have the 15400 black, but sold it because it felt too big. The white seems slightly more casual and , surprisingly, versatile. I wear it loose on the wrist and it feels a million bucks. I wonder if I should have the caseback thinned

Thoughts: PF came out of nowhere with this watch. The main shortfalls are the faint date font and the misaligned hour markers (they should form a continuous ring with the minute marker dots). https://forum.replica-watch.info/for...yster-bracelet
Thoughts: even though I’ve had my eye on this release for a while, this was a bit of an impulse purchase as it popped on m2m in Australia and the date disc looked not too bold. The bracelet needed a good clean and oil bath. It’s direct competition for my 116234 36mm DJ. While the 41mm wears very well, the 116234 has the roulette date wheel and is the classic size. ¿Porque no los dos? That begs the questions of fluted/smooth bezel, oyster/jubilee bracelet and dial configuration. The blue on this is excellent and very close to gen. I much prefer it to the blue from the 116234. I need to get a jubilee though

TD: Marvellous Replica
Thoughts: Amazing watch worth the money for the movement alone. The PR is over 48 hours. Time keeping is maybe +10 secs per day. Chrono is perfect. I tend to use it mainly on weekends because of the lack of date function. It draws a fair bit of attention, even from non-watch people. The main flaw is the insert numbers are dark in low light. I've added a Clean Factory bezel, which makes all the difference. The next steps would be gen hands and arf dial...

Factory: JKF/Cartel
Movement: 21J highbeat
Dimensions: 39x14.8mm (43.6mm with crown)
Lug width: 20mm
Weight: 131g
Mods: This has gone through a few iterations. Initially, I sanded off the cyclops, bleached the insert, removed the pearl, aged and relumed dial from interaktiv which I added some hairspray to, swapped in a clasp from a 6 digit because I love the glide lock. Not accurate but it's how I like it. Then I washed off the hairspray because I overdid it. I also had to switch the silver DWO, which was a first for me, because I screwed the first movement. Then I bought a gen insert from sub007 and it freshened it up a lot. So I bought a custom relumed cartel dial from Tripdog, who nailed it. I also had my first attempt at reshaping the case by shaving a bit from the inside of the crown guards and widening the lug holes. Pretty happy with how it's looking now.
TD: Marvellous Replicas
Thoughts: pretty happy with how this one turned out. I love the bi-directional bezel: I'll be able to use this as a stopwatch at work. Love the silver dwo with open 6s and 9s

Thoughts: This is my first luxury gen. It is perfection. I am blown away by the level of attention to the finishing. You can see what the factories are striving towards. Having said that, the Noob v7 is an excellent replication of this watch. It's just we know and love this watch so much that it gets scrutinised so much. The insert is obviously stunning. I wasn't expecting how much better the crystal and dial are. The beveling on the cyclops, the clarity of the crystal and the crispness of the dial printing take it to the next level.

Rolex Submariner 1680

Thoughts: pretty happy with how this one turned out. I love the bi-directional bezel: I'll be able to use this as a stopwatch at work. Love the silver dwo with open 6s and 9s

Thoughts: As above for the LN. I love the maxi dial and hands. The green insert adds a nice pop of colour I often lack in my collection.

Thoughts: A beautiful watch and rep. I traded this for for my JF AP 15400 black. I think I won out on this trade. It's got a glamour to it. As they say, the guy driving the yacht wears a submariner and the guy who owns the yacht wears a yachtmaster. ***Note to self: be rich enough to buy a yacht

Thoughts: Such a hard watch to get right. The noob insert numbers were a bit dull in low light so I switched in an ARF insert, which is much better. The gold tone is close to my 14k wedding ring, so I'm happy enough with the colour. I wanna put a gen or prof black hole crystal on it.
