I’ve been meaning to put this together for a little while and was finally prompted by a member asking about my collection. I keep all this info in Google Keep; an easy little app that syncs across devices and is perfect for this hobby with a note per watch. Thanks for looking and tell me what you think my collection is missing

These are my favourites lately (March 2019)

Thoughts: I love the white/silver dial. I used to have the 15400 black, but sold it because it felt too big. The white seems slightly more casual and , surprisingly, versatile. I wear it loose on the wrist and it feels a million bucks. I wonder if I should have the caseback thinned

Thoughts: I just got it and the jury is still out. Beautiful to look at, but I'm not sure how versatile it is. With the leather strap, it feels quite formal, but I doubt it will fit under a shirt collar. Not sure if it's a jeans and t-shirt kind of watch either. Very difficult to photograph!

Thoughts: I knew I wanted this watch as soon as I saw it had been repped. I've tried on the gen and this certainly is NWBIG. The working moonphase is cool, but pretty much useless to me lol. It goes perfectly with a suit. Very nice to have a proper dress watch in my collection, even if I don't wear it very frequently.

Thoughts: I. Love. This. Watch. The dial is magnificent: it's not sunburst but it changes from matte black, to chocolate to glossy depending on the light. The black can be more formal than the blue (see below) and I feel comfortable wearing it with semi formal or with business attire.

Movement: Miyota 9015
Dimensions: 40 x 8.9mm (gen is 8.3mm thick)
Weight: 121g
Mods: oiled the rotor, switched the dial for a PPF white, keylog PPF datewheel, PPF hands (just waiting for a minute hand to match!)
TD: Sead
Thoughts: PF came out of nowhere with this watch. The main shortfalls are the faint date font and the misaligned hour markers (they should form a continuous ring with the minute marker dots). This got a lot of wrist time initially, but after a while the electric blue annoyed me enough to stop wearing it. Then PPF arrived with their amazing white dial. I got lucky and scottymagic had one that he gave me along with hour and second hand.

Dimensions: 36 x 12.0 mm
Lug width: 20mm

Mods: I kept it stock for 6 months. Then I went all out with gen dial, roulette dwo, crystal, movement service and pressure tested to 200m. All done by tickleshoes. Then I switched out the bezel for a genuine smooth, turning it into an 116200
TD: Lucy
Thoughts: Very classy, especially on the jubilee, although the oyster adds versatility. Lucy was the natural choice for this watch given the temperamental reputation of the sh3135 and Lucy's reputation for excellent QC. I was considering buying a gen DJ to add to my gen sub-c for versatility, but I figured I could build a franken for 15% of the cost of a gen. (total cost was usd1455/aud2024 excluding shipping)

https://forum.replica-watch.info/for...yster-bracelet

Thoughts: even though I’ve had my eye on this release for a while, this was a bit of an impulse purchase as it popped on m2m in Australia and the date disc looked not too bold. The bracelet needed a good clean and oil bath. It’s direct competition for my 116234 36mm DJ. While the 41mm wears very well, the 116234 has the roulette date wheel and is the classic size. ¿Porque no los dos? That begs the questions of fluted/smooth bezel, oyster/jubilee bracelet and dial configuration. The blue on this is excellent and very close to gen. I much prefer it to the blue from the 116234. I need to get a jubilee though

TD: Marvellous Replica
Thoughts: Amazing watch worth the money for the movement alone. The PR is over 48 hours. Time keeping is maybe +10 secs per day. Chrono is perfect. I tend to use it mainly on weekends because of the lack of date function. It draws a fair bit of attention, even from non-watch people. The main flaw is the insert numbers are dark in low light. I've added a Clean Factory bezel, which makes all the difference. The next steps would be gen hands and arf dial...

Mods: This has gone through a few iterations. Initially, I sanded off the cyclops, bleached the insert, removed the pearl, aged and relumed dial from interaktiv which I added some hairspray to, swapped in a clasp from a 6 digit because I love the glide lock. Not accurate but it's how I like it. Then I washed off the hairspray because I overdid it. I also had to switch the silver DWO, which was a first for me, because I screwed the first movement. Then I bought a gen insert from sub007 and it freshened it up a lot. So I bought a custom relumed cartel dial from Tripdog, who nailed it. I also had my first attempt at reshaping the case by shaving a bit from the inside of the crown guards and widening the lug holes. Pretty happy with how it's looking now.
TD: Marvellous Replicas
Thoughts: pretty happy with how this one turned out. I love the bi-directional bezel: I'll be able to use this as a stopwatch at work. Love the silver dwo with open 6s and 9s

Thoughts: This is my first luxury gen. It is perfection. I am blown away by the level of attention to the finishing. You can see what the factories are striving towards. Having said that, the Noob v7 is an excellent replication of this watch. It's just we know and love this watch so much that it gets scrutinised so much. The insert is obviously stunning. I wasn't expecting how much better the crystal and dial are. The beveling on the cyclops, the clarity of the crystal and the crispness of the dial printing take it to the next level.

Thoughts: Beautiful watch. Unfortunately mine is a little thicker (11mm) than others (closer to 10mm). It's hard not to compare it to the nautilus. I love the thinness of the nautilus and the BPv1, but the JF is special in its own right. The bracelet catches the light like a disco ball and is less able to be dressed down to casual. It's also a little big for me. I ended up trading it for a TC 16234

Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711
=================================

Factory: BP v1
Movement: Miyota 9015
Dimensions: 40 x 8.9mm (gen is 8.3mm thick)
Weight: 117g
Mods: oiled the rotor
TD: Toro
Thoughts: I love the Nautilus and the thinness of this rep. However, the green tones in the dial always niggle at the back of my mind. Great dress watch, but can easily be dressed down. I'm hanging out for the the new version from V6f with the super slim movement. I'm also flirting with the idea of buying a white too.

Love the watch but I struggled to get the sleeve of a business shirt over it, which defeats the whole purpose of it! Certainly stunning and drew compliments from people in the know

Factory: JF v1
Movement: SH3132
Dimensions: 39x12mm (41.3 with crown)
Lug width: 20mm
Weight: 127g
Mods: stock
Thoughts: I regret selling this one so much. I picked it up pretty cheap so shouldn't have just kept it. It's nice with the plain bezel, making it well suited to more dressy occasions. I should have tried it on leather and kept it as a dress watch. I kick myself for selling every time i see this watch.

Rolex Submariner 116610LN

Factory: Noob v7 with V6s bracelet
Movement: 2836
Dimensions: 40x12.9 (44.7mm with crown)
Lug width: 20mm
Weight: 143g
Mods: Clark’s crystal, Smoke’s platinum paint mod, standard BK alignments/magic
TD: BK
Thoughts: The 116610LN is my grail watch at the moment and this is as close as I've got. Some people don't see the value in BK's subs, but this is damn good. Maybe with Yukis becoming more affordable the 3135 case will be the way of the future. For me, it's gotta have a gen crystal with AR cyclops and better platinum paint on the insert numbers.

Thoughts: A bit of fun with a cheapie. It surprised me how much I like the hulk, but I wouldn't spend big bucks on it so this was perfect for me.

Rolex Submariner 116610 'kermit-c'

Factory: Regmariner/unknown
Movement: 21J
Dimensions: 40x12.5mm (44.5mm with crown)
Lug width: 20mm
Weight: 143g
Mods: switched dial and hands
TD: Narikaa and WBK
Thoughts: I scratched the dial of a regmariner hulk and had an old WBK LN sub-c lying around. So I switched the dial, hands and movement in from the WBK into the reg. It's like a ceramic kermit. I think I prefer it over the reg hulk

Dimensions: 42mm x 10.0mm
Lug width: 26.8mm
Weight: 158g
Mods: stock
TD: M2M
Thoughts: I've always wondered about this one. Genta-inspired design. Slightly larger than the nautilus and royal oak. The dial is lovely and the construction of the rep is lovely. Ended up selling it because it couldn't get any wrist time next to the nautilus and royal oak

Thank you, my friend. BLNR is up there....I'm still waiting to see what that 3186 movement does and whether it holds out. Plus the insert isn't perfect yet. I will stay tuned.

Lolol I hope you get it as well!! For me no I decided not to go for it (well for today at least lolol) and wait bezel world to see if any special SD4K will come out.. I love the SD4K too much and I am between that and BLNR, anyhow you know I have some plans down the road for the months to come so maybe I need to postpone.. now thinking to get a Yuki inside my Bulk and a Yuki inside a new SA3135 SD4K

You've been lusting after the LN sub for a while, buy it when you're in Hawaii!

Amazing collection! - now I am inspired to do one of my own sometime, though I doubt I'll have as nice pics as you've got.

You've got quite a bit of bracelet pieces and divers, although it's still a really balanced collection. If I had it, I might consider a flight-inspired piece like a Navitimer or one of them IWC pilots, on black leather.

Very nice collection. I see lots of Rolex :)

I'd definitely recommend you to pick up some more dressy pieces, like leather dress watch such as IWC, JLC, ALS to make the collection even more versatile
