I am kind of embarrassed to ask...I just got a vintage tudor snowflake, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to remove links from this style bracelet. A google video search has shown me some pretty destructive methods using vice grips.

Any help would be appreciated...thanks Radman

I know you have to unfold that center link from the bottom side, and I'd imagine it could be a bit destructive, but any decent watchmaker could easily oblige you.

interesting. I guess that is how it is done. I thought I might be missing something.
I read about 2 different methods:

- pull apart link by holding left and right side
- use a screwdriver to unfold center link. And then press it back

the second one sounds less traumatic.

Here's what you do. If this is a genuine bracelet:

1. Wrap this bracelet in bubble wrap.
2. Put the bracelet in a place for safekeeping.
3. Purchase an oyster bracelet that will fit and is easily adjustable.
4. Wear in good health know that you didn't damage the old one by having it sized, and you have a bracelet that has no stretch and won't break on you.

If this is a replica bracelet, yes, you unfold center links to disassemble and reassemble it. That's why vintage watch sellers advertise whether a bracelet has been resized or not.
