The first step is to pick the watch which you've done, bravo.

Then you pick the factory/version, based on your research on the forum, and what you like. It's your money at the end of the day, so ultimately your choice, no one is going to make it for you.

Then you pick a TD from the below list:-

Hey Tomback....been in your position wondering which “is the best”, but a Google search with that as the question + RWI showed that to be a question on this, and other rep boards that would continually drew caustic comments about laziness etc.

Like you I wanted to know how to get the best (at my budget at least) and am presently in the process of collecting information and parts for a 5513 (maybe a 5513/5517) build. To that end I have spent hours and hours and hours searching for posts on what I want, (both on the Rep and Gen sites), read many of them several times over, contacted dealers, etc, and I can tell you...the information is out there, but doubt you will get spoon fed answers just because you post “who sells the best rep”.

Good luck with your search, it is amazing what you can learn about the rep world.

It would be nice if there was a TD that would put only the watches they can actually get on their website.
Instead of numerous emails back and forth saying “nope, can’t get that one”.

VSF is arguably the best sub maker, and the latest ARF and Noob versions weren't too far behind. I owned all of them at one time. Yes, VSF and Noob aren't being made anymore, but you can still find them on M2M.

It also depends on what you want for a movement. You may be happy with an Asian ETA clone. Or you may want the Rolex clone movement. Ultimately you have to decide.
I have NOOB and others. I like all of them for what they are.
