About to order 1st rep. Next steps?

After reading many Submariner rep reviews on this
forum, I’ve decided on the 116610 ZZF V2 SA3135 and plan to purchase Fri.
Based on some other posts, once I receive the watch I’m going to follow these steps:
1. Admire
2. Set time and wind
3. Remove bracelet and clean, soak in baby oil bath, clean again.
4. Replace bracelet once dry and polish
5. Take to local watch smith for inspection, service and check waterproofing.
6. Enjoy

Anything I’m missing or tips from you guys!

My advice is just enjoy it for a while without doing anything to it. Your to do list is based on other people's impressions but you may feel differently. So wear the watch, get used to it and after a while decide what you believe needs to be improved. Enjoy!

Couldn’t agree more. Steps 1,2 and 6 will probably suffice. It’s a great rep.
