Hi guys,

I have placed an order for Seamaster 300 "Spectre" Limited Edition VSF 1:1 Best Edition on SS Bracelet A8400 Super Clone V2 (2 Straps) on Saturday Oct 10th (Puretime). it is my first order so, pretty excited as you can imagine. Apparently, when you pay by transferwise you are sent the payment details for you to make transfer within 12 hours of placing the order...still have not received anything on Monday (I checked Spam box just in case...) but hey I am being patient and hopefully will get details soon. Order is #100211372.

Will keep you posted guys.

Indeed as soon as I sent email to request payment information for transferwise they sent it to me and I have now made payment yesterday, they have received the funds today and sent me an email to confirm. They will send QC images soon. Very happy with communication and paying with transferwise is so easy.

I received QCs yesterday, beautiful quality, so impressed. Only thing, I am not sure if 9s/day is ok, it does seem more than what I have seen before as it seems more in the 3-4 sec range but maybe I am mistaken. See photos below. Order should be sent today 15th Oct. Top communication, really impressive.

COSC standard is -4/+6 seconds per day. You don't seriously expect that from a rep, do you?

Looks perfect! 9 sec/day is already in a good range :)

Ok guys, sorry if I sounded negative...LOL I had no idea of what to expect. So you can have 4-5 sec/day on a gen then?
Just picking your brains: do you reckon a quick swim in a pool with Nato bracelet should be totally out of the question (waterproof test is green)? I guess it is not worth it right? Just want to avoid looking silly having to remove my Seamaster before I get in a pool or in the sea at the beach...

Don't wear it to the beach, case closed. Judging by what i've been reading is that you shouldn't take that chance with replicas.

I would not go for a quick swim without knowing and understanding the risks upfront ... the risk is that worst case scenario it leaks and you will have to get a service and quite possibly replace parts. Understand and accept that and make a decision on whether you want to still do it.

If you really want to be sure then get a local waterproof test, they are not expensive and give peace of mind. Some are WP without doing any work but it is always advised to grease all seals and do an actual test for WP. Depends on how many watches you are going to get, a WP tester is only around 100€ and the test can be simply performed at home with this equipment! If it were leaking then you may need the services of a watch smith but it would depend on where and why the leak.

Theres a few threads on this in the forum where more specific information can be read about this.

Without doubt.

I had a gen 16613 which was around 5 seconds per day off, thats a COSC Chronometer off the shelf, brand new from AD (2007) - They are supposed to be -2/+2 after casing and it certainly was not. It didnt particularly bother me otherwise I could have sent it back for regulation if I had wanted, I didnt want to be without it and as it didnt bother me I planned to do it at first service - A "first service" which never happened actually, I wore it day in day out for around 10 years then sold it as it was and it was still running in exactly the same way.

I dont believe it is "case closed", in all cases they can be tested, to prove it one way or another. Whether it is done is a matter of personal preference but certainly is possible - But then I wear all my watches for swimming. Some people think the opposite way and never swim with reps or gens.

Some I tested when I had a WP tester at home and some I took the risk after simply greasing the seals, i´m talking rep Rolex and Breitling, FWIW. I have before taken the risk without even greasing the seals, found it was WP without doing any work to it and never had an issue, later I had it tested and it passed 10ATM without ever having anything done, not even case back removal to grease the seal.

Ive never had a problem but I understand the risk and for me, having dive watches, not swimming in them would be blasphemy. Dive watches that are so close to gen spec (and can of course even accept gen case parts like bezel assembly, crystal, gaskets, back-case etc etc), so it would be naive to think they cant be waterproofed at least to swim level, not in all cases but I believe most. And in all cases they can be tested, to prove it one way or another.
