First Order With PureTime - Two Watches

Been browsing for my first rep for a month or 2 now and decided to purchase a rep for me and my dad.

I ordered the 'Submariner 116610 LV GREEN CERAMIC ZZF 904L 1:1 BEST EDITION ON SS BRACELET A2836 V3' for myself
and
'SEAMASTER DIVER 300M 007 JAMES BOND VSF 1:1 BEST EDITION ON SS BRACELET A8800' for my dad.

Jennifer informed me before I placed the order that there would be a sight longer wait for the ZZF V3 Hulk, which is fine by me.
Just waiting to pay via TransferWise now.

It would be best to get em fix by your local watch smith instead of sending them back to TD. Keep the receipt and show to TD, you might get a discount on next purchase.

Thanks mate, am I right in guessing that not all watch smiths will deal with a rep? I'd feel awkward walking in and just assuming they would work with one.

My advice is to avoid big chain watchsmiths and find a mom and pop shop. Let them know up front that you received a rep as a gift and if they could work on it. I found one near my home and at first he wasn't all excited to work on my watch but I brought him alot of business..so he ok with it now. I've taken him gen watches to service or polish to keep a good rapport with him. or there are several mods here that gladly work on reps for us.

Small update:

23/8/20 - Email received from Rainy to say there will be 1 month wait due to back order. I reply to ask if I can change to a different watch, as agreed before order was placed that if the wait was over 3 weeks, a change would be facilitated.

24/8/20 - Receive a reply from Elena that they now have some in stock. Waiting for QC pics now.

28/8/20 - Emailed to follow to and ask about QC pics, was told that they received a batch of 3135's, not 2836's. Would've been nice for them to let me know.

29/8/20 - Changed to 'Seamster 300 "Spectre" Limited Edition VSF 1:1 Best Edition on SS Bracelet A8400 Super Clone V2' instead and $100 refund will be given after shipping. Waiting for QC pics now.

4/9/20 - Extra pictures received. GL given. Will be shipped tomorrow.
