Hi everyone,

I just placed my order for the DateJust 41 126333 Noob 1:1: https://puretime.io/watch-brands/ro...ver-dial-on-ss-yg-jubilee-bracelet-a3235.html

I was chatting with Jennifer on their web chat and she was very helpful. I live in the UK so I selected the Express Track & Trace option for $35. Jennifer confirmed that this was the best option since I lived in the UK already, I did not need EU Direct.

There was an error screen after I submitted my payment, but my bank confirmed that the money had been reserved. Jennifer also confirmed that the payment had been received, so all seems good. I have been sent a booking confirmation too.

The watch was $616 and shipping was $35, so $651 total. This should work out at around £495, but my bank showed a reservation for £535.11. I was aware that the actual payment could be higher than the indicated amount due to exchange rates, so this all seems fine.

The watch is currently out of stock but I've been told it should hopefully be back in stock in the next week or so. I will keep you update on the progress.

Hi everyone!!

Just got my QC pictures through. Are these acceptable?

In general I would say they're very good, but I feel like the space between where the bracelet attaches to the main body of the watch is quite large. Thoughts?

I just heard back from Elena at Quality Control and she agreed with me that the SEL is bad on this watch, and that she will send me QC pics of a new watch in a few days time.

I must say I am so pleased and impressed by PureTime, and Elena specifically in this case, that they offer honest feedback on the quality of the rep. If they were just trying to push as many watches as possible they could just pretend that the faults were acceptable. But I emailed Elena and described my concerns (as detailed above), and she just responded: "SEL is bad on this watch ,we will replace it but this takes few days more to wait for :_)". I would say that's brilliant customer service and it makes me trust the dealer more.

Great work Elena and the PT crew! I am looking forward to getting my new QC pics in a few days!

Hi again,

Just an update on this.

I am still waiting for my new QC pics. It has been 10 days since the original QC pics, and I just emailed Elena again for an update.
Hopefully the watch will be available soon.

As you know, it was out of stocks a few weeks back. Noob may not have a lot in this batch and It might take longer to get the replacement . Elena will help you to check and get back to you soon :) Thanks for your patience.

Hi,

So after emailing Elena this morning I got a quick reply saying that my QC pictures were ready which I was very happy about.

However, upon looking at the images it was immediately clear that these QC pictures were of the exact same watch as I was sent 10 days ago. I inspected the images more closely and found not only that the SEL gaps and positions were exactly the same, but also minor marks and blemishes were exactly in the same place as the "old" watch which I rejected the QC pics for. Even where the plastic covering had come loose was exactly the same as the "old" watch.

Now this actually got me really worried, and I hope this is just a mistake on their part. But I'll supply picture comparisons below of the "old" and "new" QC pics where I've highlighted the similarities.
Download the pictures and flick/tab between them and it becomes clear that it's the same watch in the pictures.

Has anyone else had an issue like this with PureTime or any other TD? Being sent the same watch QC twice after rejecting the first?

Like I said, I'm hoping this has just been a mistake on their part, as I've been super happy with the service and communication so far.
