This isn’t my first rodeo, but it is with Puretime.

Decided to go through thd Bitcoin route since the discount and all. Used a friend’s account. Will update progress in detail.


Jan. 10 2019 - Made purchase, sent TXID to both Shuang directly through email and PM’d Angus from Puretime here on RWI.

Jan. 11th - Recieved QC pics, but rejected it.

1) The hour marker looked damaged at the tip.
2) The bezel was misaglined

Waiting for response from Elena to see when next watch QC pics will arrive.

Jan. 12th - Elena shared QC of a new watch. The hour hands were non-damaged, but the bezel is too obviously mis aligned. Had to reject.

Great support and service thus far, quickly tending to the issues at hand...

Jan. 15 - Elena sent a quick response stating that if I am “okay to wait a few days”, then she will send me QC of another watch. I let her know that sounds good and I’m looking forwards to the next one.

Jan. 16 - 3rd watch QC pics arrived.

*APPROVED*

Bezel is algined, hands look fine, SEL looks tight, only a +1.9% leak rate... Overall, happy with the piece.

The only issue I see is that it runs an astounding 17.5 seconds fast per day, but at 0.1ms and 321*.

I greenlighted based on the fact that when I will be switching out the dial, I will probably have the movement taken a look at. Hopefully nothing too sinister is going on inside.

We may have over wound it. You can ask Elena to test it again if it bothers you. No worries.

Yes, I have asked Elena to re-test just to see the situation. In any case it is approved, but for ease of mind it would be great.

Not a big deal since if there is watch malfunction, Angus kindly would cover the costs to fix/send a new one.

Ok, please let us know if the movement has any issues when you recieve it. From our experience, it should no be a problem.

Jan. 18th - Received EMS Tracking Number from Shuang. Looks like it successfully passed security and left Guangzhou at 01:00AM today.

Packaged very well.
