My experience to buy watch from Pure Time vs In Time

I decided to have small gift to myself for my birthday.
I sent email to Ryan from In Time, that I’d like to buy 2 watches from their site.
He gave me advice to buy one watch and after I receive it, to buy another one.
I made order at 07/12/2018 for Omega watch
At the same day I made order with Pure Time for Blancpain Aqualung watch, using different credit card.

Omega Planet Ocean listed for $298 plus shipping charge $38. And If total going to $336, I was charged for $368 (Like $28 – fee for foreign currency exchange).
Blancpain Aqualung listed for $408 plus shipping charge $35. And if total going to $443, I was actually charged for $472.62 PLUS $14.17 - fee for foreign currency exchange.
And if first watch Omega listed as $298 – cost me $368
My second watch Blancpain from Pure Time listed as $408 – cost me $487
But this isn’t finish of this story, yet.

You can see pictures, what conditions were both watches at arrival.
Obviously I did my best to fix stripes on Blancpain. I wear both watches at the same time (day and night); taking of only to take shower. And If Omega keep showing right time with NO PROBLEM;
Blancpain were tired EVERY NIGHT. Every morning I saw, that watch stopped at night time.
Well, I put both watches to my winder machine. And guess what….? Result was EXACTLY the same. Omega working as real Swiss watch, while Blancpain tired every single night.
And guys, do you think that it is end of my story…? Nope….

After I payed on both credit cards for my purchase, my Bank with Master Card I used to buy Blancpain, call me to inform, that some FRAUD activity detected on my card.
As you can see from picture – I really got into the trouble with Pure Time purchase.
And As of right now, I am wearing new Omega all the time, and have no idea, what I should do with shitty Blancpain watch.

I am sorry about the watch my friend, it has nothing to do with PureTime, we get the same watches from the maker as Ryan does. I think we are just a bad luck, did you get the timegraph test result from us? The watch was running fine right? But maybe the power reserve or winding mechanism has some problems. Please send it back and we will fix for you, I just want to say there is no difference for you to order from PureTime or Intime. And we have nothing to do with the fraud transaction on your credit card. As I have mentioned on various threads, my CC processor is mainly used for high risk business like rpelicas, gambling and pharmacy so some banks may flag it as high risk but definitely not fraud. And you have no worries about this.

Please email us at [email protected] so we can help you out with your watch, sorry for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding :)

OP just to say I've used puretime many times and have had no issues. On the rare occasion when the piece wasn't perfect I returned it and the issue was resolved - so I think you may have just got unlucky.

My first ever rep came from Puretime and arrived dead at which point I was gutted but contacted them and sent it back as requested. Process took a month or so due to China mail and customs but received watch back in full working order and it still runs strong today. Agree with Angus' comment above and would apply same to any of the trusted dealers.

My experience to buy watch from Pure Time vs In Time

You do a comparison of your purchase experience between Intime and Puretime, but you have no clue what are the issues with your purchases.

1) Your banks charged you the extra fee ... NOT Intime nor Puretime ... They received exactly $298 and $408 ... The differences in fees because of the different credit cards that you used. Puretime did not charge you more. I always tell new members not to use credit cards for their orders due to these fees.
2) Both Intime and Puretime are DEALERS, not factories. They do not make watches. They just get the watches you ordered, take QC pictures, and ship them to you. The watch has issues, not Puretime.
3) Puretime provides the same warranty as Intime. They both offer warranty repairs on their watches. This could happen to anyone, any watch, and any dealers. These are replica.

I ordered many times from both Ryan and Angus. They both provided excellent services.

puretime is amazing. Bought my first rep from them. I haven't bought from Ryan but I know he's a good dealer as well. Don't judge puretime for international fees, this sometimes happens, even on FKING Amazon u get products with faults. That was your bad luck. Cheers, this is the rep game, you need patience and luck.

Yes, I do.

First company provided watch in VERY GOOD condition and I have no problem after transaction.
Second company provided watch in VISIBLE BAD condition, and they stopped EVERY DAY.
To send watch back - it is additional price for shipping back to China and to USA.
So, price for watch - will go UP almost twice.
And MAIN PROBLEM - I've got big issue with the Bank... about FRAUD activity on credit card.

I truly hope your are not a real doctor ... otherwise I will be praying for your patients ... Your reasoning is out of quack!

Now I read your post again ... I bet you never did fully wind your watches ... didn't you?

How is it a big issue with your bank? Just tell them the transaction was authorised, end of story.

And I suggest that you should wind your watch properly.

@Angus: I bought 10+ watches at Puretime and love your selection and check for new arrivals daily. However I HATE bitcoins transactions. They are SO timeconsuming AND expensive. Is there any plans to bring back the bank transfer or a Paypal payment option? I would even be willing to pay an additional fee for using Paypal :). Cheers!

I can add I tried using two of my credit cards and they where instantly blocked by my bank (without an option to approve the transfer/payment).

Please dont sound we intended to provide something bad, providing a bad watch will cost us after sales service like shipping and we wont like that to happen, if you have only bought once from each of the dealers, I think it is just a matter of luck, I am sorry if we let you down and we believe we can work together to fix it.

I am so sorry my friend, I have dozens of PP accounts closed down and even bank accounts since my volume is too large. The financial authorities already monitoring us, so we can only offer CC and BTCs at the moment, actually BTC is very easy and cheap, we do offer a discount for BTC payments as well.

Some banks block transactions of payment gateways of possible illegal products. Please try to use BTCs as payment type, thank you.

I can say I have had a horrible experience with In Time. I ordered a Noob Seadweller with a ETA movement. The date flipped at 7 o'o'clock. They say they have qc? Please, I am convinced they either don't at all or just don't care. Why have a qc if they cannot catch misplaced hands? Worthless! Rather than pay to ship this turd back (I did that once with another dealer and it "disappeared") I just threw it in the trash. There went $300.
In Time sends out garbage. They do not do a useful QC or they would have found the obvious mistake an elementary school kid would have found. Avoid them everyone unless you like throwing away your money.
