One issue I encountered while setting the Local hand by turning the crown in reverse was that the rotor started spinning very fast or kind of like a "Helicopter Effect" this has happened 3 times when setting the time. Any idea on what this could be? Should I get the watch serviced? Please advise. Thank You.

Maybe someone could make a video of setting time, date, local, home,…. ? :)

https://v.qq.com/x/page/s3254sqw5e1.html

From about 2:10 he's talking about the time/date, I think.

Bottom right pusher, seems to quick set the date, or you can of course rotate the hours hand a number of times.

Seems the skeletonised hand is the GMT, and you rotate it to 2, and the main hand to 1, while the crown is half out, and then when you move the hour hand, it rotates the GMT too, one hour ahead.

Pulling the crown guard out fully then, freezes the GMT hand, at the point of your choosing, and the hour hand is free to be set then separately.

Push buttons do nothing, as another member previously pointed out, and I think the reviewer is saying that too.

I could be completely wrong though, and if so, mea culpa, but that's what I took from the video anyway.

When I get it into my hands, hopefully later this summer, I'll be able to mess with it proper, and will add to the thread with hands on info.

But in the meantime, if anyone speaks chinese and can translate from about 2:00 on, and clarify setting time/date/GMT/home etc, once and for all, it would be very much appreciated.

Here are some of my observations so far.

1. The GMT (Skeletonized Hand) is set by moving the crown backwards or counter clockwise when pulling the crown all the way out in the 3rd position (Last Crown Position). You kind of have to move it clock wise and counter clock wise to get the hands off of each other.

2. The minute and hour hand is set moving the crown normally as you would with any watch.

3. The 2nd position (Middle Crown Position) does not move any of the hands minute or hour and seems to be faux.

4. The two pushers on the left side do not do anything. The bottom one makes a clicking sound when pressed which is odd.

5. The daylight transition starts at 6:00 am and is fully white at around 11:00 am. The night time starts at 6:00 pm and turns all the way blue at around 11:00 pm.

6. The power reserve is around 40 hours.

7. The Date did not change at exactly midnight. I'll have to find out when it changes. Maybe I have something set incorrectly.

Anything you would like me to try let me know.

Well first let us know where you bought it from (so we know it will not fit). Then did you compare the rep and this brown one before mounting it on the watch? What are the differences? Is the gap present on the other side too?

Yes the gap is on sides. I'm going to try the bendy rods.

I agree with the above, I think you bought an after market strap which isn't the same spec as the rep strap.

I personally got a cheap khaki one from aliexpress on my ZF Aquanaut and have the same issue, one way to minimise it is not to wear the watch not too tight or put some tape on the bottom part of the strap facing the case this should give it a bit of padding to force the upper half of the strap towards the case. I don't think curved spring bars will help or will work as this strap takes straight spring bars and the curve will arch the centre away from the case not towards.

The white base of the hand. It really stands out. They also did the same with the 15202 with a massive base.
