If you check, the alignment of the 1st link on the case is always the same

In another post on this thread someone is saying the large link looks to be corrected. I can't tell from PureTime pictures.

I thought it looked slimmer at first, but after seeing more pictures I’m not fully convinced. It may be improved but it doesn’t look as small as the PPF bracelet or the gen for that matter.

Guys, I can tell you some reasons, why I will order the 3K Green dial version of the 5711:

In general, I am a Rolex freak. I have built plenty of Franken and wrote some reviews on RWI as well. Usually I’m really sensitive if it comes to little details so don’t get me wrong. But first, I love the green dial since it was released. Second, I have neither had a genuine Nautilus in my hands nor I know anyone who owns one - what’s completely different to Rolex models. I know the gens and do also own some of them. That’s why I spot the differences. But there is zero (really zero) chance to get this model some day as a gen in my hands. So no need to waist my time with useless waiting or concentrating on details which I can’t compare in hands. Third, while building Franken watches I learned, that the movement is key. Once a movement is a gen spec clone, the case is also more gen spec and dial, hands, date disc etc can be replaced much more easily. Although the 324 movement is not the one which is used in 5711 green dial, I would order this model only for the reason of having a gen spec PP movement (regardless which one). Fourth, I have no clue what the future will bring but due to recent raids I fear that gen spec movements will become less in the future. It’s just my gut feeling. No evidence on that. But enough reasons for me, not to bother about wrong date disc, too thick end links or slightly too thick bezel (which can be reshaped most likely). Maybe I will put it in an aquanaut model one day. But owning one is better than not getting one anymore. My experience with TC Subs, Noob 4130 Daytona movements, Gen Hulk parts, 3235 VSF Datejusts etc etc has proven me, that it’s better pulling the trigger earlier than late.

The green color looks to be completely incorrect. The gen green is a drab/khaki/matte green, this is more of a brighter hulk-type lime green. A good attempt, but the color difference is too large for me.

Just curious, have you seen a gen in person? Maybe you are the lucky one who has seen one or has been allocated one by PP. I am asking so as not to question your judgement but to get a fair assessment if we are going just by online pics which can be deceiving.

Yes. I tried on a 5168G green dial gen at Watches of Switzerland in New York but do not own one. I did own a 5167A gen.

Even I have tried the 5168 green. Is the 5711 green the same shade in gen?

it depends a lot on the light, first photo is gen and the second 3KF.

Yes it’s the exact same green as 5168G

I’m not a PP specialist but these are complete different dials if I’m not wrong. The 5711 has a metallic / sunburst effect while the 5168 hasn’t. So even if the “basic” color code might be same, I think you can’t compare these really one to one

Exactly, it has nothing to do with one dial with the other, you just have to see them!

The 5711 green dial is classified as metallic which means it will give the sunburst effect.

Whereas the 5168 green dial is classified as khaki green, meaning it will give a matte effect.

They are not the same dials.

They finally fixed the big end link.

But they introduced a new problem of reduces flexibility just like the old JJF models... You can see what i mean when he tries to bend the bracelet.

While the bracelet hangs down at a 90° angle on a PPF you can see it is a bit stiff on this 3KF shown on the vid. Might be only a problem for wrists with under 17cm circumference.

I am no expert but I found the 3K dial really nice and dynamic on this vid. Wasn’t considering this but this changed my mind
