New 5712 rep?

It's hard to determine how the rep's first link compares to a gen's, without making a side-by-side comparison.

This is the reason I've been holding off from retrofitting this beautiful watch with leather/rubber strap. I've seen various versions of the links sold on TaoBao, but there's no way to tell from looking at the photos on their pages.

Guys do you know who's the modder here that reduces the thickness of the 5712? I read that it's possible to bring it to 8.5mm

Received mine yesterday. Don't know about the gen dial, but the one on this watch is insane

But mind you, after seeing all these macropics, the watch wears pretty small.

Sorry to hear mate, if you don't have the pin that may be tricky. Maybe you can try asking your TD? If it's a brand new watch they should do something about it, either help you source a new clasp with the end links or maybe the full bracelet, probably not gonna be free but they should give you a high discount

Same thing immediately happened to my watch, too. It's already at a modder, hopefully he can fix it. Seems it's a common flaw, which is quite annoying in case of an otherwise awesome rep. Can you share a link for that pin? I couldn't find it so cheap.

LebronXiJames not sure if its the link i bought them from but its what i used on mine.i bought a few different diameters and cant remember which one i used.i think it was a 1.2mm x 17mm.i ended up just using the end and inserted it into the existing pin.hasnt fallen out yet.i apologise if ebay links arent allowed
