Very true. I’m still deciding between the Nautilus and the VC Overseas 4500 silver dial (the blue is too far off the gen) for my next purchase. Have liked the overseas for ages, but the white dial Nautilus has now caught my eye and just nosed ahead.

I know someone who will oil up the rotor for me, but that accuracy is tempting. Not sure if it outweighs the bracelet issue though.

Well, what I heard that the 3K bracelet is a little stiff. That's all I heard from just one guy complaining. The PPF v3 bracelt, on the other hands, has had a number of people on our forum saying their watchmakers had trouble resizing.

I'm not an expert, but the dial looks a little purplish compared to the V4 in the previous one posted by nobigdeal2010..

Waiting confirm from more knowledgeable members.

I agree... looks like a V3 dial to me. I previously owned a V3. The photo below shows my old V3, Simon2349's QC image, and my V4. In that order

Plot twist: it is not a V3 or a V4 either - it is a V2!

Consensus is that based on the TD pictures, the fact that the V4 dial is an improvement is debatable because it is still off.

After some reading through the forum, I placed an order for PPF v4 blue despite its known flaws (large bezel, crown). This is my first rep and I've scoured a lot on this forum to get some idea of what to expect; although PPF v4 is still new so there isn't much to read up on. Am waiting on QCP; hope that this goes smoothly.

You have sharp eyes... yes, the left part of the 12 o’ clock marker is a little bit higher

I don't quite see where you see a consensus. Yes we need to see it in the flesh and it may still be off, but so far folks seem to be saying that it's looking better not the other way around

There is not a single post saying that it is not better than the V3, but there are several posts saying that it looks better. So clearly there is no consensus that the v4 being better is debatable. Worth the upgrade? That's a different question and as I said let's see but so far the consensus if there is any is that the v4 LOOKS better. Not sure about what you mean by a while ago since this thread is barely a week old. Yes a lot of newer peeps but since you joined less than 2 months ago I'd consider you one of the new members. Your opinion is valuable and I respect it like I respect everybody else's opinion, but it remains your opinion not a consensus
