Got my 3K Aquanaut

Hi guys,
finally its here! my new 3K 5167
I was ordered fron Andrew (trusty).

12.03 - Order Confirmation.
17.03 - got the QC pics (and approve it by the same day)
31.03 - got the tracking number
13.04 - Finally got the package by DHL.

first of all - Andrew's service - was very good. it took full month, but I get the Covid19 issue and hope next time its will be faster.
the package include Patek travel case - very nice on in a good Quality (for free!)

and now .. the watch - Amazing watch!
telling the truth - I never saw Aquanaut live,
when I first saw it today, it looks a bit too small and gentle, but after few min on my wrist I was totally love it!
took me 15 min to adjust the strap. and here we go.





let me know what do you guys think ]

By the way - do you think I can take a shower with it?

Looks like the "Patek Philippe" and "Geneva" printing is still not centered. And the clasp logo is not aligned on both sides. Other than that, this is a keeper. The clone movement is a promising step forward.

Date is smaller than ZF. But i dont know Keylog DW will fit it or not.

I don't if anyone noticed, but the newer models of aquanaut and Nautilus come with thinner datewheels.
Checkout the videos of the white gold khakhi green aquanaut for instance.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Also, I am not sure if it is the picture angle, but the date seems a bit left justified to me. Lets hope we get a keylog 3K Aquanaut DW soon.

Indeed, and the number 3 looks somehow smaller than the number 1

You can’t use an overlay for this. The rotation of numbers on the miyota is different.

You can however install a gen dw on the 3k movement

Do you have plans to make a date disc for this mate? Sourcing gen Patek parts is nearly impossible. I’ve been searching for a gen date disc for 3 months.

The main issue is that even the gen date disk on the aquanaut is left justified not centered. For now it will be on hold until the gen dw is tried out on PPF dial and the 3k nautilus

Most likely yes, however this is something I’ll have to talk with BIONONE and Spongebob. Making a date disk is not same as an overlay.

That would depend on the tolerance between the dial and date disk.
