PPP & ZF date wheel mod photos!

This is a new disk made for this watches, available at the usual website. Hopefully this will help deciding if it’s worth modding or not!

Keylog74 that datewheel wheel looks good brother!
I will be ordering it...the of one I ordered was a super smooth transaction (and I’m in conus).
Also, if I remember correctly from the other thread and the pictures here, you nodded the crown...did you shorten the tube? Would love to know what you did...again would need a modder to do it for me as I’m no expert.

Yes it was shorten a little bit. other thing done was painting the inner wall of the dw on the nautilus.

Sorry if this not the sub-forum to ask that but I noted that as you could success to adjust your overlay disc on PPF ( that has thickness constrictions) , I'd think you could do an excellent job on those ARF 2824's DJ 41, can't you?

Those very nice DJ41 ARFs are so well made but DW is IMHO "offensive to the eye"....

Is that possible ? Surely you'll get lots of orders, at least I have not bought it yet for the DW issue alone.

Thank you! I don’t benefit from the date wheels, I spend my own money to source watches dials ecc, just so i can have my own watches “right”... About your question, BIONONE is soon receiving a gen Rolex date wheel, if Rolex uses the same font/date disk every where you might see one soon. Me personally knows nothing about this brand except the name

I agree that the current ARF DJ41 has issues with their date wheel, primarily uncentered date and too bold of a date font. I posted on a Rolex thread that we here, in the Patek Philippe sub forum, have a superb team that took the initiative to design, develop and produce a better DWO than what the rep makers have available. I posted this in the hopes that the Rolex DJ41 fans would do the same on their own, they do have a larger group.

I'd very much like to know if the PPF mod has been performed with a new DW or it is an overlay.

Being the latter one, how was the overall thickness affected? Can you take a pic of measurement?

Does this assembly need a modder or a watchmaker would suffice?

It is a overlay not a date disk. Fitting is bit more complicated that in the PF but can be done.

Do you know of any CONUS based modders that are experienced in this modification. I don't have the tools, dexterity, experience, know how, eyesight, patience to do this on my own. Preferably a RWI trusted watchmaker or modder. This is for the upcoming MKF DWO. Thanks.

I think there are some vey good modders here on forum, you just need to check the section, vac is one of them but there is more than one.
