New Aquanaut by ZF is comming.

I git my rep frm zf. Very nice rep.
Has a noisy rotor which i will fix. Only other downside is the weight its very light

I've not held the gen but I'm guessing thats light too... It is on rubber strap after all

As far as i know the gen weighs about 80-90g with uncutted strap and folding clasp

By the way, even though the two photos are showing the same watch but somehow on mobile phone screen, The first photo show the date 21 is centered but the second photo shows the date 21 slightly off centered more on the left side.

Ankther flaw with the watch is crown difficult to scre down Gave it to my watchsmith. He said also the hands are touching slightly so will try n fix it

But bad news here, please see the buckle, 1 big 1 small, so it makes the logo part can’t be “flat”... already contacted to dealer and asked for a replacement, hope it comes ASAP and can be fix the problem.,

Ps: to me, it’s a rep, so I don’t think it would be perfect but at least ZF need to know this problem and make it better in near future

Damn. I had this happen on a BP Rose Gold Aquanaut a few years back. It's very annoying when the clasp doesn't sit right (and it's not the best clasp even when both sides are even).

Too many issues for me out the box to drop $500, I will wait.

JerryLeung make sure you test the pressure of the clasp so it doesn't inadvertently pop open.

I thought I fixed mine and I flexed my wrist drinking a pint and it popped open and nearly fell onto the ground.

True, what if order a new clasp and replace it? I mean use the right side clasp to replace the old right side.

Personally I would try and get a complete new clasp? Not sure if the dealer can get this but you dont want to be trying to match up two different sides, it may not close properly? The clasps on these are notoriously shoddy, even the Gen is finicky.

I have to ask, did the dealer (or yourself) not pick this up in the QC process?

I just gonna replace 1 side only when the clasp arrived. But just give it a try, not 100% sure it works coz the new clasp maybe still suck...

I don’t think the dealer checked for me & I didn’t notice the clasp has problem.... ;(

Now the dealer is willing send me a new one for replace is better than nothing

I know QC pics shouldn’t be shared but I’m not asking for feedback, just confirming how bad it is. If I was new-wave Conservative I’d call this one a ‘Radical Lefty’, even on the single didgets it’s got a left bias
