I'll upload some more pics when I receive it an explain what it feels like in the hand, if there's lots of noise from the rotor and if the measurements stack up when I put a set of calipers on it.

Looks really good, just wonder the actual thickness to pull the trigger.

Looks really good, just wonder the actual thickness to pull the trigger.

The actual thickness could easily be +\-0.25mm different between different members.

Typically the factories use different gaskets, different caseback torques,
different crystal Heights etc. Then you have the machining tolerance itself. This will impact on the measured thickness across different pieces.

Different calipers could also measure with say +\-0.1mm error ...depending on calibration, temperature, how it is held etc.

But yes it would be interesting to see what real life measurements others record...just note that your watch could come in at a different thickness to mine etc.

On the dial, 5 o’clock, The end of the line was left poking out of the marker.

I don’t know if the extended line at 5 is/was a gen dial variation....who can prove one way or the other

I am considering to pull the trigger for this watch but only thing that stop me is that I am not sure I will be able to swim with this watch after take the watch to a watchsmith for revision.

I have seen that watch past 3 bars (not enough to swim) but I don't know if the watch construction will permit pass the 5 bars needed to swim (passed with my 2 tc's and with the explorer I). Could someone help me to clarify this matter? thank you in advance.

Here's a gen dial for reference:
1b8Jg.jpg

This gen example shows that the length of the each lines behind 6 o’clock marker is not same. The length is different intentionally and the 5 o’clock marker hides the end of the line behind the 5 o’clock marker.
