Got this in today - dial seems a little light although with a gradient it's hard to compare to photos. Greenish strong lume like the others, but overall lovely. Looking forward to wearing it out

Tried to have the light hitting it a bunch of different ways, it goes through a broad range of tan<->chocolate depending how it's striking

Dial is just way too light. I know different light gives different colours etc etc, but I’ve never seen any pics of the gen where the dial looks that light, and presumably the same would be true of photos of the gen, so I conclude it’s just too light!

There's plenty of pictures where the light burst is that pale colored on the gen, but the reason I think it's too light overall is that when it does that the rest is usually darker than the rep looks. So not a problem of the lightest parts but the overall color when the lightest parts show up , if that makes sense. See below for example - that's pale tan where the light strikes it, but the rest maintains a nice dark tone.

i figure the chances of seeing one irl are silly low on this anyway, and it's still a really handsome looking watch even with the too pale dial .

Agreed, dial colour totally wrong but it’s a really good looking watch so it wouldn’t put me off.

Yeah , it goes through so many color transitions on the gen & rep, but the rep never hits that dark dark brown you see in pictures like WM posted above in any of the light i've put it in yet. It stops at a more metallic looking shade. It's a very nice looking watch for all that though and def one I'm going to enjoy wearing.

Looks pretty.

I personally do not care too much about gen vs rep dial colour difference, if the quality is good and the overall aesthetic looks in accordance with the brands design principles.

Ps. Are the bracelet links RG plated all around (ie are all surfaces plated)? Or can you see stainless sub-surface as the bracelet links bend and fold.
