Mine was a bit banged up. But the grain looks better than when it was new from PF (too lightly brushed). I would do it while he has it. Worth it

Patek 5296, that uses a 9015 movement as well. Am I missing something here ? (afraid of the answer lol)

Unfortunately I think it would need to be tested. But the DW on this one is not so bad, do you really feel the need to upgrade it?

Since the rep looks so good, I think it could do with a perfect DW(bolder font)

True words indeed. I purchased one of his Submariner ceramic bezel inserts and the finishing and details are astonishing, it's just another level. The texture in the numerals, the pitch black ceramic, even the bevelled border in the numbers, details you can only see with macro shots. Just perfect, Money very well spent indeed!
Hi everyone, I’m pretty new here, and I’m a Nautilus fan myself, I have the Selitta 5711. This project sounds very cool, but I wanted to know has anyone else noticed that the shape of the date window is different, when it comes to any of the replicas vs. the gen. I apologize if this was discussed before, my observation has it that the shape of a gen’s window is square, whereas the replicas all displace a rectangular shape. Is there any way to correct this?

The PF version has the same measurements like the gebuine 5711 - various members posted their franken projects (genuine dial in a rep PF) with the PF DWO installed and it fits perfectly - just like the real deal.
Maybe you have seen some different reps of different qualities from different makers. That could explain your doubts.
Beside that the old SW200 model was a nice watch until everyone jumped onto the 9015 miyota trend and developed better cases/bracelets/dials based on this movement type...

There are several, you could try Natas78 what I remember he did some PP work for a member here at RWI. He is busy though, but asking is free of charge hahaha Cheers

Very pleased with the total look. Wonder how it would look and feel when received.
Hope it won't be as flashy as the AP 15400.

In other news the incredible SpongeBob has finished my blue dial PF. This not only got the new datewheel but also had the markers re-aligned, bezel and midcase rebrushed, rotor silenced and a 2xAR Prof crystal. Whew! Hat's off to Sponge!
