"From the 3A factory" :D :D :D

they also could write "best AAA+ quality" haha they better improve simpler models than messing up such complicated pieces with a 23J cheapie...

Toro always has crappy photos. It’s hard to tell if it’s worth $350 compared to the much cheaper 21j that pop up from time to time

I would to have that in a blue dial..I’m going to buy it. It looks a lot better than the 21J I know because I have a 21J.

Damn! This one is my favourite Nautilus by far! Ok, so we are talking of at least 3mm thicker than gen, if we can believe what Toro is writing. Other than this I believe the gray dial gen is actually white gold on leather strap, the movement should be with microrotor not with full rotor, and the moon on the moonphase should be silver, not yellow.

I will ask Toro if the blue dial version is in the cards and will come out anytime soon.

Keep us posted cuz I would like to know if the blue dial will be released as well.

After really looking at the pictures..I don’t see a little button that sets the date. I wonder the date gets set on that watch?

Toro didn't actually reply to my question about the blue dial. I had also asked him about the thickness and he confirmed it's 11mm even if he didn't provide any pictures as I asked him to...tbh I remember in the Exile Forum someone (might have been reppist ?) published some pictures of a soon to be released 5712 with blue dial, but the blue didn't look very good...this gray looks much better, if you can overlook the obvious flaw. Given that the gen costs around 50k$ the chances of seeing one out in the wild are pretty slim and therefore also the chances of finding someone who could recognize it a as a rep.

I was about to order a PAM but I guess I'll go for this one instead. I'll think about it for a few days...

I have a watch with the Miyota 9100 with full calendar and power reserve indicator and you can set the date both with the button on the side but also by advancing the days through the crown.

I have the gray 5712 but it’s the cheap 21J and has waaaayyy more flaws than the one toro has on his site.

Too thick by miles, totally ruins the proportions!

DC

Before saying that I would like to see better pics or even a video of it, hopefully either puretime or trusty will upload it on their sites soon

Edit: actually given the fact that the rep is 42mm compared to 40mm for the gen, the proportions are respected :-D

The Rod I agree 42mm isn’t too bad..thickness doesn’t bother me as long as it’s not too thick and chunky looking. A 2mm difference doesn’t bother me..but I’m sure they will fix the flaws as long as they see sales for this model.

For reference here are some pics of the blue dial version posted on the exile forum, based on the movement it appears very similar (to this gray dial rep, not to gen ;)):
