Hi All,
I recently got myself a Patek Nautilus 3800 from a dealer (appears to not be a TD here while is on the forum I most frequent so I won't name him here) and as there appears to be very little information on the watch here I decided to quickly write up a little for anybody who may be interested, especially as they're currently on sale at quite a few dealers.
I picked up this watch for $188USD advertised with an asian 2824-2, I've not opened it up to confirm the movement but given how it works and that I've dealt with this dealer many times before I've no reason to doubt that it is what is advertised.
My first warning to anybody interested is that this watch is absolutely small. It measures approximately 35mm between 1:30 and 7:30 and 37.6mm across the horizontal wings of the case. Thankfully the case is also a lovely 9mm in height which is really nice and thin. Seriously consider the size of this watch if you're interested. It works great for people with girly wrists like me, but for many here who are used to larger watches it would look / feel comical.
Left to Right: Rolex 1675 Cartel, Patek Nautilus 3800 BP, Rolex Explorer 1016 JMB, Rolex Submariner 16610 BK

The bracelet overall feels decent but can definitely catch hairs much more ferociously than the standard oyster or jubilee bracelets to which I'm accustomed. The clasp is serviceable though very stiff, I'm not sure if this will lighten up through use. it must also be noted that due to the design there is no micro-adjustment.
The crownguards do certainly make this crown far from easy to operate in the winding position but the date set and especially the time set is buttery smooth.
It must also be noted that the PATEK PHILIPPE on the dial definitely looks closer to PATEKPHILIPPE with the space between the two words being almost non existent.
This watch is far from super-rep quality but also has a price quite far from it as well.
Overall for all of the svelte wristed gents on the forum (or the ladies) it is a great way to get a nautilus if the 5711 is just too big for your wrist, for those for whom that does not apply, enjoy your 5711s you lucky bastards
And of course, an obligatory wrist shot:
