Unfortunately, nothing means anything.... You have to look at a specific instance and ask TD. If I'm not mistaken, there used to be 111 from v6f, like 005 and they were cheaper than noob, they were available a year and a half ago. If these are samples of that time, then they probably should be different from this implementation, which is declared a novelty.

Just got an email from Li. No more v6f pam 111s . Looks like this XF is their new version.

Thanks for the info, this was expected, the 111 V6Fs have been around for quite some time. But the question is whether the XF and VSF 111 are the same watch.

I asked Ryan over at InTime, where I sourced this piece as the VSF. Let's see what he says.

the XF replica I received had sticker 8 on the caseback the same sticker was on the VSF Planet Ocean replica taken a year ago. I don't know if this sticker 8 means anything. Pics of what I received are in the Toro Bravo section.

Hi there Folks, Ryan circled back to me: "Actually XF and VSF are the same factory just different line." - What I read into it same factory, different product line. In fact, looping back to InTime, you will now see the watch advertised as XF. Tx Ryan!

Thank you very much for trying to get this confirmation. It was seen, but now, you can treat it as a fact.

Thanks for the investigation. :)
So does that mean that this is the best value for money for the PAM111: https://jtime.cc/us/pam111-n-v6f-1-1-best-edition-black-dial-on-brown-leather-strap-a6497.html ?

For the folks that bought this XF version, has anyone realized or noticed the "6" and "L Swiss Made L" being off? The shape of the 6 looks a bit off (fatter bottom on the left side) which makes it appear like the spacing between and 6 and L Swiss made L look closer compared to gen.

Does the crown guard sit flush against the case? Looks like its not perfect and there’s a bit of a gap?

I just got a XF 111 from M2M. I think it's overall a good rep.

But on the "not sure about it" side, the lume is pretty greenish yes, and maybe the CG has too sharp angles.
The "L swiss made L" below the 6 does not look so off to me though, but here is a picture with 2 gens from the net for basic comparison.

The thing I'm concerned the most about is the crystal. When I unpacked it the fisheye effect seemed too strong right away, along with a foggy look and a pretty strong reflection. I may be wrong but I don't remember older Noobs, and of course a gen I tried a few years ago, having such strong xstal effects.

I took outdoor pics aside my old Noob 390 for reference and comparison, the fog and reflections a are obvious :

mrsullivan thank you for the comparison. That xtal fog would definitely bug the help out of me, reminds me of the old days of cheaper reps with no AR. No reason to get an XF over a Noob with the poor xtal AR and greenish lume unless at a substantially cheaper price. The greenish lume I don’t mind, but the “fog” would cause me to pass it by over picking which watch to wear...

Very revealing photos. For 000 and 005 XF there were the same complaints, but the photos did not look like this. I doubt that there are different crystals on 111 and 000/005.

to me the crystal seems to have the same distortions, I compared the two videos (XF and NOOB V12) made by Andrew here:

Are the reps also water resistant? Also, would you pick up the noob V12 or XF? They look to have the same price on trusty.
