Fortunately I am able to source a 243 and a 064 in a reasonable price but I’m uncertain whether it would look too big on my wrist, can some 243/064 owners with small wrists chime in? I understand that’s size/thickness is a subjective matter but I would love some opinions from the owner himself.

There is a bit of a gap between your wrist and the shirt. With the shirt, it gives the impression of a bigger wrist and the watch looks fine.

May look different when wearing a T shirt or short sleeves.

Pams are supposed to wear a bit bigger anyway.

I don't have the models above but comfortably wear 44mm's with just under 19mm wrist, if that helps.

It's the lug to lug size that matters more than the diameter, I think.

Watches have got bigger over recent years now and therefore more acceptable than in the past.

The difference vs the 308 would be that the 064/243 are thicker and have bigger wrist presence in my humble opinion because of the Submersible bezel.

What’s your wrist size?

(087 is instead of the 243)

Well, pf78 my wrist is not big, but obviously not tiny, but nevertheless, I am convinced that 243 due to the 1950 shape of the case will look larger than 064, which is adjacent to the wrist around the entire perimeter. Until you measure the clock live, you won’t know for sure, but my rate is exactly that.

Unfortunately, I cannot find 064 at a reasonable price:(, but it is also 44mm., At least 1.8 cm high and has a midcase shape similar to 064.

If it was a 1950 case, it would have seemed even higher, due to the smaller plane of contact with the wrist. But this is just my opinion.

In any case, with a narrow shirt cuff and watches as low as possible to the wrist, I would not wear them, but this is all a matter of personal style, I just prefer to wear a large watch high.

If you don’t “source” the 064 for yourself, I’d be interested in it ;)

I never saw or noticed the effect of the dial before where it looks like in sunlight it has that metallic effect. Similar to what we see in other models I guess. Is that how the gen dial is too? And is that a detail in that is copied from the rep factory? Or is that something you ended up doing/adding/modding Somehow?

It looks awesome. I really wish you’d open your thread back up so we can ogle your collection.

If someone here is ready to get rid of a PAM087 or a PAM064, I'm your man!

I don't think wrist size is too much of an issue as long as you like the watch and wear it with confidence.

Mysterio, RWI should institute a penalty system for users who break one of the rwi commandments and post a WTB comment.

They should be prohibited from buying any watch in the said discussion. So it would automatically slide down to the next person in line who didn't break the rules. Ahem.

Interesting suggestion but those types of decisions are way above my level of purview. Sales concerns are outside the scope of this section. :)

I would say both the 243 and 064 will look good on your wrist, but I would wear them just for leisure, and not for business. Btw. great catch

If you wear watches underneath your sleeve (if you wear sleeved shirts at all), submersibles would also not be my first choice. It's the height and bulk of the bezel. Whereas the non submersibles are slightly thinner and the shape of the bezel is sloped, making for an easier time slipping into the cuffs.

If bond can wear a thick diver watch with a Tom ford suit then I think it’s ok in 2020 to wear a PAM243 for business. The watch means business. I think it looks cool with a dress shirt or even a tux. Just my opinion.

I say go for it, you won't have a problem reselling either if you decide it doesn't fit right.
Trying new pieces and finding out what suits your style is half the fun.
I find the thickness and weight of a watch more important than diameter, it has to sit and not be top heavy/uncomfortable.
my wrist is 19cm and would love a 187 but at 220g (ish) I know its too heavy for myself.
Those pieces you are looking at are probably 170g

Both will look fine. The thick bezels make them look big but they won’t be far off from your 308. They will be a little thicker and sit higher off your wrist than the 308.

I must be a muscular short man. I have smaller wrists than you.

If anything, pam064 without a strap and screws 148 g, while the chrono pams 44mm in steel are all about 120-125 g, depending on the model. About 243 - I don’t know yet ...
