the thing is with these watches the angle of the photo can make the pip seem out of line because of how deep the dial is. Slightest change in angle makes it look out of line.

I know...
but I couldn;t take the risk...so I asked for a new one and actually it looks better...

Haha sorry! One of my hairs got in the way again! About the text, now that it was mentioned yeah it does seem thinner than in some of the other pics. But yeah I've not seen a gen so I couldn't really compare, doesn't look off/too thin to me in person.

Also I'd just like to add that the rotor is definitely noisy in this one, I was hearing it spin while I was still taking off the protective foam from the package!

I just got mine today its amazing rep as for the strap its short for me OEM would be a Standard Length
