Panerai Re-Release Waiting Room

Hi,

I decided to create a thread where people who are looking and waiting for the older Panerai models that once dominated the rep game.

It seems like the rep factories lifted their attention from us rep forum members to the local Chinese markets, which explains the surge of bland replicas with not many characters these days.

I hope the makers realize the huge demand of older Panerai models from rep fora and fill in the demands. I just couldn't understand why they haven't released a lot of the old popular models.


I myself have joined this game in 2008 and remember those days when rep fora are full of Panerai rep release dates, pictures, info, and sales. It was one of the best of times for Pam lovers.

I currently have the 111 and the 292, but I am looking forward to expand my collection with various other Pam models such as the 024, 113, 177, 183, and etc.


If you are in a situation like me, looking for the classic PAM models with a A6497 and A775X, but found out that they are all out of stock since a couple years ago, please join this thread!

There are no numbers available in terms to who wants what in repland, yes there is a buzz ofcourse and for sure there are people out there who would buy a good lot of the older PAM reps, but for the factories the target audience is too narrow to revive all those old reps. A lot of them were superreps back then, but would they still be? A lot of the really coveted models like the 202 and 225 for example, were not up to today’s standards. The data and production plans or whatever it’s called may have been lost in a raid, we don’t know...

With all the new watches being repped at such a high level I do not think Panerai is game changer for the factories
I’ve ventured to the Omegas AP Brietling coming out the last 6 months and I must say they are so close it’s scary
I would not mind some of the newer panerai models

I am totally agree.

I am looking bunch of elder models and i saw maybe more than hundreds comrades on these forums, looking pam models and i am keep seeing every day.
I hope some day some fac, start reproduced all these pam models.

IMHO they should continue with producing the Base models plus the most hyped ones, as the anonimo, 720, 721, 232, 372, 422, 382. They are easy to make you can still use a lot of the parts for smaller batches of rare ones.

The PAM372 does not have a dirty dial (a dial with complete hour numerals, like the PAM359/PAM441) so you can't expect Noob to release it, let alone re-release it..
