Could very well be the brownzo yeah. But they are already selling it and people are posting pics of it. Who knows it might be sold out already? Kinda dumb to hype it like this then imo.
Just google or check instagram for PAM968 or Brownzo and you'll find pics.

I think the brown bronze will become a regular model, maybe they will announce that?

With all the hype, it had better be something no one has seen before. Maybe a bronze Lo Scienziato? Or making the Brownzo truly a limited edition rather than an annual release. Or a ceramic Mike Horn which would be killer ...

There are a couple ADs with Brownzos available. I'm doubtful about a rep anytime soon and I may be forced to pull the trigger on the real thing ... Save me from myself rep factories ...

Sorry to bust your hopes.
I got confirmed from Panerai themselves that the new Bronzo is actually the Brownzo aka. PAM 968.
Someone fucked up big time in allowing the distribution of the piece before it was presented.

This will be easy to rep. Now, how accurate are the current P.9010 clones?

But even if it wasn´t being distributed yet... Everybody knew this model since January! Why make this watch look like anything we´ve never saw????

I guess the "big takeaway" is that it will be available for sale on the website and therefore be more widely available to the general public. 5 pieces each quarter, first come, first served without having to spend $100k on previously released models and/or going down on your AD. Kind of cool, but more of a "meh" from most ...

And just when the guys who received the first batch had finally washed the taste out of their mouth ...

Pretty sad marketing this ye. It is on their website now for whoever is interested.

I don't really see the point in a ceramic bezel when the attraction of the bronzo is patina of the metal. If they wanted to give it a new look i'd rather see the bezel from the PAM984 or something in bronze.

My thoughts exactly ;)

So from a marketing point of view, there are in the world now 1000 PAM382, 1000 PAM507 and 1000 PAM671 so 3000 bronzos that won't be re-released, with bronze bezel. And now there's the chance for up to 1000 collectors per year to buy the new one which doesn't have a bronze bezel.

1,000 per year seems a bit optimistic. Maybe for 2-3 years, but maintaining a $17MM sales volume for one watch model boggles my mind. Maybe I don't get it?
